ACSO 360: Two -minute Review
Akasu 360 Akasu has the first 360 degree camera, a company that is known for its budget friendly action cameras. And Akaso 360 follows this tradition, which is less than rivals like Insta 360 X5 and Go Pro Max.
Like these competitors, it is a double sensor camera that shoots on two ultra -wide lenses simultaneously, automatically sewing images caught in the same 360 degree image or video. Before exporting these 360 images elsewhere, Akaso 360 can be modified and denied using mobile or desktop apps.
Camera 30 FPS stable 5.7K video (allows a refrigerated video to be exported to 4K resolution), or up to 60FPS (supports the export of videos in 2.5K resolution) in 4K as well as 72MP or 18MP or 18MP resolution in JPEG and/or DNG raw format.
In addition to regular 360 videos and images, the camera also offers certain capture mode, which allows the passing video (where breaks can be set for one to 60 seconds), a loop recording video (auxiliary loop period of 30 minutes), bracket HDR photos and time fusion, allowing you to have a recreational mode. Using it, I easily managed to create a picture in which I appeared at two different locations at the same time.
I will describe the image quality of Akasu 360 as the best rather than the best. During my tests, if I shot videos and photos in the bright sunshine, I got very sharp and colorful results, but even less (even on a slightly cloudy day), a 1/2 -inch sensor of the camera struggled to prevent the noise from ringing in the pictures. Seeing the resulting videos on my phone screen, they looked great – but the noise on my computer’s big screen was very prominent.
Insta-360 x5 and Insta 360 x4, two other 360 cameras I have recently tested to a great extent, have been left behind, with Akasu 360 capable, the image quality war-but-but they are far more expensive. In the price range, the camera li, I think its performance is definitely acceptable, and its built -in quality of life features such as video sewing and selfie stick is very good.
Mobile and desktop editing apps are easy but intuitive, and once you have imported videos from the camera either phone or computer, trimming them and using them and either tracking the AI-Assisted article or the use of manually added frames is a fast and easy process. There are also basic image adjustment settings, but here for the purposes of videos of embedded samples, I left things good.
Videos and images are stored on the microSD card, which supports up to 512GB capabilities. The speed of the card should be UHS-I V30, UHS-I Class 3 (US) or above. I would say with my experience that the camera could benefit from a sharp wireless connection. Some of these 360 videos are very large, and it may take a lot of time to move them through standard Wi -Fi with a maximum speed of 12MB per second.
The camera also contains a built -in stereo microphone, which works a lot in the house or in quiet conditions. Like the most desperate camera mickens, it also easily takes out the noise of the air, so actually cannot be relying on the BLUSTART days, or rapid action such as biking.
Speaking of the weather, one thing that will be good will be a good thing for potential buyers about Akaso 360 is that, unlike Insta 360 X5 or Gopro Max, it is not classified as waterproof, dust proof or wear. Akasu calls it “splash resistant”, and I used it during a light rain shower, which has no side effects that some droplets appear in the shot. However, it would certainly not be advisable to fully stink underwater. X5 users- Unlike usable glasses, there is no easy solution to fix itching or broken lenses.

It is being said, I found the general design, control and handling of Akaso 360 to be fine, leaving a swallow: The touch screen resisted my swipes and taps with the most stubborn, which is sometimes prepared for a disturbing experience when trying to change video settings and such a change. Physical buttons, screen size and description and camera’s compact size and underweight are all impressive, and its candy bar shape (such as a little smaller Insta 360 x5) is perfectly pocket.
Battery life is also acceptable, with my stress test, can be recorded using a full charged battery for about 50 minutes of 5.7K 30Fps – just a little embarrassed in 60 minutes claimed by Akaso. Assurance, when the camera was very hot during this test (it was a hot day of heat and was a timetable temperature in my home office), it never went to the place where he stopped the recording and closed itself to cool.

This is much cheaper than the current competition. Go Pro Max costs $ 349.99 / £ 349.99 / AU $ 599.95 while Insta 360 X5 costs $ 549.99 / £ 519.99 / AU $ 929.99. Even if you return to the Insta 360 X4 last year, it is at least 9 349.99 / £ 425.99 / $ 632.99, so Acoso has a truly great sale than its main rivals.

You want the best affordable 360 camera
With the current 360 cameras of Insta 360 and Go Pro, it costs a lot, represents a wonderful alternative to the residents of the Akaso 360 tight budget.
You want a simple 360 camera
Acaso 360 does its important task well, sewing videos without interruption and removes selfie sticks from its footage. It is not full of modern features but is a trusted actor.
If not buy it …
You need a unreasonable 360 camera
It is not a waterproof, dust proof or shock -proof, so Akaso 360 is not the best camera for document your wet and/or wild outside adventures.
You want the best 360 image quality
The footage of Akasu 360 is decent but falls into low light. In all terms, a really excellent 360 video L, we will recommend Insta 360 x5, which has an effective processing processing to reduce large sensors and noise.
Also consider
Although this is no longer listed as an existing model on the Insta 360 website, it is still sold in a lot of places released from 2023-and even less. Although it lacks some modern features of new models, it is capable of excellent visible, simple to 360 videos, and supports Akaso 360, unlike active HDR so that the lighting light is high and shadow description can be enhanced.
