Rufus Amazon is the first time in the consumer -based AI chat boot, and was initially unveiled in February 2024. For the first few months, it was only available in the United States, and later it was extended to India on the company’s mobile apps. In particular, this feature is also maintained in the beta.
Like ordinary chat boats, users can communicate with chat boots using natural language and ask any questions about Amazon’s e -commerce platform. The chat boot then uses Amazon data to know the answer and presents it in a conversation tone.
At the time of the unveiled, Tech Dev said that the user can ask for product recommendations, the biggest discount on a product as well as for the things to consider during the purchase. Rufus also allows users to ask follow -up questions. It accepts both text and audio as input, but can only produce text output.
On the mobile app, users can find roofs in the bottom right corner, which is indicated by a shiny icon and two text bubbles. One in the orange and the other in blue. Taping the icon opens a lower sheet setting where users can either type their questions in the text box, record the sound notes, or use a combined consultation at the center of the interface.
