It is MacBook Air in the world of Chrome Box.
Lenovo’s latest Chrome Book Plus 14 is an arm -based thin and light that has good spears, excellent battery life, an excellent keyboard, solid blood, and an amazing OLED screen. But the best thing is that its bright and mum .l -14 -inch panel base comes standard at a $ 649 sequence or $ 749 as a touch screen.
This OLED -equipped Samsung Galaxy Chrome Book Plus and Acer Chrome Book Plus spin are cheaper with the IPS screen. It is more sharp with Ram.
New Chrome Book Plus 14 can be a leaving laptop for someone-if you are right, of course, are already living with Chromos.
Lenovo Chrome Book Plus 14 starts at 910 processor, 128GB storage, 128GB of Ram, and its excellent O LEDs. The cost of our review is $ 100, but it seems worthwhile for storage, 16GB RAM, a touch screen, and fingerprint reader. It weighs slightly in 2.78 pounds instead of 2.58 pounds of base model. It is quite thin at 0.62 inches, and for ports it has received two USB-C, a USB-A, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The USB-C ports allow you to use two outer 4K monitors in conjunction with the built-in display, though they are a slow 5 GBS.

In terms of hardware, this laptop is especially near -priceless, almost fileless. You get an excellent standard 1920 x 1200 / 60hz OLED, which is not a standout in terms of resolution and refresh rate, but the color and vice versa are certainly. Most of the other Chrome is a lot of ram compared to the Box, and the keyboard feels as much as the more prisher Lenovo notebook. The speakers are also good enough, offer a full sound for music and podcasts, and they can be quite loud. I was just with small hangup webcams, which look aside from green color, and the mechanical track pad’s sharp, cheap sound click.
The performance of Chrome Book Plus 14 is impressive, especially since it is a completely quiet, fan lace design like MacBook Air. The 8 -Core Medetic processor with 16 GB RAM is so powerful that many chrome tabs can easily handle in a couple’s desktops. In the background I uploaded some documents to the Notebook LM, which could produce some audio reviews, and never bothered to stop using my open tabs or Android apps. Lenovo did not sweat. I arranged to slow down the meditic chip a bit, but only twice. There was an accidental mini -torture test – Chrome tabs and files of files reopen a group of Windows several times Spaming CTRL+Shift+T.

In fact, these days Chrome Boxes are firmly consistent that you should expect more than enough performance for daily multi -tasking – and provides new Lenovo. You can do almost anything in a web browser these days, and the ability to operate both Android and Linux apps can fill the rest of the space. But there are some spaces left.
Zoom – Whether it’s in the browser, Android app, or in the “Zoom for Chrome Book” Progressive Web app – a small mess. The Slack’s Linux version did not work, as the Slack has no version of the Linux app compiled for arm chips. I can get properly using the silk in the browser, though I prefer it as a standstone app. So keep in mind that if you are planning to use Linux apps, the architecture of this laptop can complicate things.
It looks a bit boring, but it is worth the passage-Protect for the Crom Book Plus branding.
The trackpad is not increased like some other laptop, but it doesn’t feel too small.
The USB-C ports are nothing special in speed.
But at least you get the more easier charging Each on one side.
Unprecedented apps can reduce battery life, but Lenovo’s 60Wh cell and power spinning chip make it a battery winner. Light -day Chrome tabs, progressive web apps, and Android version of Spatifs, I can easily use Chrome Bok Plus 14 easily by the beginning of my work day by 8am. I once started my day with 77 % of the battery, used it for nine hours with a minimum standback time, and by 5pm the tank remained at around 20 %. If you are cautious, you may find this thing several days.
1/5This keyboard is excellent, as we should expect from Lenovo.
It combines battery life, the overall performance of Lenovo and the excellent screen, makes it an easy recommendation. Linux will have a better compatibility in a X86 Chrome Bock, if it is important to you, and it is possible that Snapdragon X -Lys Les Chrome Bock can shake the place in the future. But the fact is that you can get a touch screen version in $ 749, which is a lower price than the second, slow flagship chrome bok pulse model, making this Lenovo the best chromebok offers. This Acer Chrome Book Plus Spin is not like two -convertable, but it is more powerful and has a great screen. Samsung’s Galaxy Chrome Book Plus is also an excellent OLED like Lenovo, but in my test I received its 16: 9 -as -9 -sided ratio -screen arxom (it should have been dead on a laptop in 2021), and its number makes the pad keyboard tight.
1/3The Samsung Galaxy Chrome Book Plus is also a beautiful, largely OLED. But this is outdated 16: 9 aspects.
Lenovo Chrome Book Plus 14 feels like a suitable successor to the old Pixel Book of Google, which has an excellent screen and border line overcaping sunglasses, which can, in fact, continue for 10 years of promised software update. If you want to tinker with Linux, this is especially appealing if you want a cheap, mostly troubled laptop. It is the new king of Chrome Box, and is just a great computer as a whole.
