Since the release of the KIA EV6 in 2021-the first mass market of the company, the All-Electric Car-Corridor Automaker has been an example of how to succeed in the electrical automotive space with a wide and accessible range of vehicles. Four years later, the EV5 company’s widespread customer base is yet to be targeted as a competitive price medium-sized SUV-and it’s already a well-sold car in both South Korea and Australia.
In my opinion, is the second largest after Tesla holding the strongest range of EVs in 2025? Under the Old Hatchback/Wagon/SUV Cross Over EV6, almost all of all things in the lineup have some smooting of all the tastes, from the top to the top and the compact EV3SUV to the bottom from the EV9 to the bottom.
Given that the EV5 focuses on a wide appeal with its size and performance, it aims to carry the middle -sized SUV car maker as a new hero car in its future (though based on the highlights we have, the incoming EV4 seedan and the hatch EV5 for its money).

Here is such a compulsory mix of important features, which should be widely appealing for a huge range of consumers. Although nothing has been done much better than any other car maker-the feeling of driving is great and the limit is competitive, sure-has provided a well-rounded package in the price range. Right now, it does not wander too far, which causes a comfortable driver to expect the car, which does not need to dive into the infotainment system with a sensible setting of buttons and shortcuts.
However, by saying, there is a significant area of weakness: what the operating system is retreating a bit. In the lead to testing the EV5, I spent some time with his sportsman siblings, with EV6. When it was first reviewed when it came to Australia (in 2022) and actually mourned on its operating system, I can confirm what (and by the Extension Hyundi – which uses the same OS but re -found), especially when the Chinese are cheap.

Unfortunately, the transfer of the operating system will not affect the cars released before 2026 – not even birth and hinde – and it will only be available in this model of the year. It is good that these companies are actually changing their operating system – many automas here are still mixing with the interface that qualifies as just “usable” – but I wish this shift would happen soon, so the KIAEV 5 could get the best out of the door.
I am not irreparable that I write to KIA EV5 for its non -impressive OS, but I am sure that the Android automotive system will help a lot of intuitive daily drive. As far as the real ‘car’ is concerned, though – I thought about EV5.

There is a lot for the KIAEV5 that makes it an attractive option. A heart -wrenching interior is similar to an outdoor that is not as large as it may appear in the photo, and it is easy to derive through the hard carpark. After taking the EV5 on the way out of the city (including three adults and two children sitting), the EV5 remained comfortable for the whole family.
With its united style, one of the struggles of Kia is that EV3, EV5 and EV9 look the same in the photo. It is only personally that you will see the size differences, with the number of the names of each model equivalent to the continuous increase in the price point of view – though the dimension is of one way everywhere.

The full focus of the KIAEV5 is attractive to a huge range of consumers, and it comes to two important points: size and price. The car is difficult without driving on the rigorous roads and its cost is attractive in competition with companies like Tesla and emerging Chinese rivals, while also competitive against luxurious European alternatives.
The maximum DC charging capacity is slightly less than 140 kW (or 102 kW in the standard model air), especially explaining how much can the next model up the EV6 can charge (233 kW)-but if you are going on a four-hour journey from the city, you will get more than 10-20 minutes at a time.

Is EV5 more competitive than many of its rivals, especially those who come from well -established brands like BMW and Volkswagen, but I feel reluctant to recommend everyone. EV5 has a great mixture of features to make it the driver’s ideal ideal that he is not sorry for the extremely future experience (something that improves Tesla, Pool Star and Byd), but instead wants a more traditional setting in the driver’s seat. I will recommend a long range of air to more people than other models in the KIA EV5 lineup as it offers a highly competitive mixture of limit and price. With its large size, it is especially attractive to families. However, if you want a software intuitive experience, then I will recommend comparing it around or waiting for the upcoming range of cars.
