For the past several years, the Pro Level Game Controllers have been joining the mainstream, which has offered the gamers a new feature that has come up with their system. These features include additional mapable buttons, changed game pads and other customized options.
However, I don’t think I have ever seen a controller that offers two dedicated buttons within the same device. Steelth Axis From the turtle beach lets you rotate the gamepad physically to show a completely new, first hidden, buttons layout – without removing anything. What can be a controller and I’m here for it?
What do I like about the stealth axis
I’ve been impressed with turtle controllers for a while, and the stealth axis continues in relation to the company’s tremendous hardware. Button clicks and is responsible and feels amazing to keep the whole thing. This design is closely identical to Microsoft’s own Xbox Controllers, which is a good thing.
Steelth Pyote has many pro -properties such as its stealth ultra -controller (and many other Pro Level Controllers), including adjusting triggers and four additional, re -capable buttons. The attached command display is also forwarded, though it is much smaller than the ultra -1.5 “screen. Surprisingly, it has all the features, including buttons and social media reports.
On the contact, you get a wired connection for Bluetooth for Xbox (no wireless support), 2.4GHz dongle for PC and mobile devices and compatible smart TVs. The bottom is a headphone jack and the USB-C port for charging or Xbox connection is up. You can play and charge at the same time, which is a good bonus.
Two controllers for a price
The biggest feature of the stealth axis is its rotating game pad. Basically, you twist two Joyce Sticks, unlock the game pad, then literally rotate them 180 degrees to display the other set. This second set has a special set of controllers designed for fighting games, or really, any game where extra buttons are valuable. So instead of Joyce Sticks, the top left is a DPPad that flanks through two buttons. On the right, the ABXY cluster moves down to make two extra, mapable buttons.
Therefore, now, instead of buying and changing multiple controllers or removing and changing the gamepad (such as PDP Victrix Pro Controllers), in just a few seconds, you can collide with head shots in the call -of -duty call off duty to beat bad people in death combat or tekkin. This is certainly not something I’ve ever seen on another controller and it works amazingly. Even you can save five digital profiles on the controller so that you can get different sequences for each game.
I was impressed with how good the buttons and everything are on the stealth axis, even though doubling the excess of everything in one place. By the way, the controller is slightly thicker than most other controllers, but it’s not worth noting. Hardware and engineering that went to this controller is noteworthy.
What do I like about the stealth axis
However, there are some compromises that come with this sharp switch capacity. First, the turtle beach was unable to add its micro -buttons, which I personally prefer on the more standard buttons on the axis. Joyce Sticks are still HallWhich is good, but the rest of the buttons are standard. Buttons are not bad, they are not as good as on the company’s other pro controller.
Secondly, making a place for these rotating game pads means that the space had to come from somewhere and the most obvious place was the battery. Turtle Beach says the axis has about 20 hours of battery life, which is probably a little hope. I wouldn’t say that it’s terrible, but it’s not very good. It has been reduced to the fact that you have to plug physically in your Xbox, and you can play when charging – but PC users want to keep the cable easy.
Also, while you can use the company’s control center II app to customize the controller on Windows, Xbox, iOS and Android, but the app itself is not very good. UI is basic and here are some disturbing insects, including failure to rename the profiles on the Xbox version. It is also difficult to tell if anything is saved after you have changed. There is no indicator or safe button anywhere, and when it saves things in real time, it would be good if you know that this is happening.
Finally, it is disappointing that you can’t contact the Xbox with wireless. Wired is fine, and it avoids battery problems, but the wireless is clearly easier.
Should you buy a stealth axis?
The stealth axis is a really solid controller without dual personalities. Personally, I’m not really involved in Fight fighting sports so I don’t need another set of control. And the extremely hard, e -sports level gamers may want something like a fight stick or more dedicated fighting game controller.
However, if you are more comfortable gamers who enjoy the fighting/button heavy games along with sports that use Joyce Sticks – and want to equalize your fighting style. Steelth Axis One may be able to see, especially since it is only $ 130. This is more expensive than a standard controller, but it is difficult to defeat everything you get with it.
There is a clean party trick in the stealth axis controller from the turtle beach, but most people may not need it. The hardware is fine, but the software is small and it really does not separate itself as a surface controller or a dedicated fight stick.
