Many apps in parental control connect a complete set of features on Android with a very limited offer on iOS, but Humpect tries to provide a much more comprehensive set of features on Apple devices.
There is a lot to like here, with geofensing, scheduling, screen time allowances, encrypted screenshots and both in both platforms – and, the theory, many reasons why we should be able to compete with competitors from the Parents’ control sector.
Plan and pricing
If you make an annual payment, the two paid options for our contract, premium and premium+, cost $ 6.99/£ 5.45 or 9.99/78 7.78 every month.
Both levels allow you to manage twenty devices, which is sufficient for all of the largest families. More affordable levels, in premiums, the main features of the app, such as scheduling, app rules, screen time management and family location eligibility.
In the premium version of the Humpect, you also have the option to set rules for messaging apps and website visits.
Premium+ includes the ability to view your children’s screenshots gallery as well as all these features, take your baby’s device screenshots immediately, and automatically make these screenshots – and the option to filter these screenshots through the specific content category.
This price is reasonable: Costio and bark are a bit more expensive and if you buy annual products instead of paying each month, MM Guardian is slightly cheaper, but all four products determine similar pricing.
If you want to try its premium and premium+ features, our contact offers a 14 -day free trial. There is also a free version of the product, though it is very limited: it includes the ability to stop web browsers as well as an automatic schedule and management of a device.
Free products of the butcher is better, and Microsoft Family Safety is also more impressive than our Free version of our PACT.
Specialty
The screenshot feature in the premium+ is one of the keynote innovations of our contract. It offers three different ways to see what your kids are doing: from time to time screenshots, on -demand screenshots and a gallery.
From time to time, your child’s device provides automatic screenshots of your child’s device, though keeping in mind that your children need to start the JR app recording feature of this work -related self -related JR app. The bark takes a different approach here, only provides screenshots when it detects suspicious content.
On -demand option allows parents to see their child’s behavior whenever necessary. And when visiting the gallery, parents can browse through category, data or drugs, violence, romance and more.
Our contact web filter allows parents to stop inappropriate content, and parents can create custom lists of blocked sites and websites that are always allowed – for example if you want to allow your children to access educational resources.
Along with this traditional filtering, Humpect enables parents to prevent children from purchasing app and installing apps, and it can also disable iOS features like Siri and Air Drop-and can limit the collective collected data for advertising use. On Android, parents can also disable aircraft mode.
This filter works together with a feature that facilitates parents to disable browser like Chrome and Safari.
Our PACT has minor scheduling capabilities, which are available daily scheduling as well as preventing the easy app during specific periods – but other apps offer far more granularity in terms of time period that can be selected when making a new schedule.
Parents can reward more screen -time children in the app. Individual apps can be allowed to permanent or default access – but children cannot send a more screen time, which is a rapidly popular feature somewhere in the market.
Children can also use their own version of their appact app to track their screen time, and this is a manual process that helps them keep in mind the use of their device and accept their responsibility.
Our contact is one of the only parent -controlled apps that allow parents to stop iSage on iOS devices, and it is possible to stop text messaging apps.

And, finally, is the location tracker-which has real time tracking, a refreshing 1,000 meter radius, and has a position for all your children. When the children arrive or leave their safe or prohibited zones, you will also receive push information.
There is no doubt that the overpact has a good range of features, especially on iOS – in fact, finding a parent’s control app is unusual to find basic functionality in Apple’s platform and Android, in which the latter is usually much more versatile.
He said, it is clear that our contact loses some basic features.
It does not have a clear, easy activity report, so it can be difficult to review your child’s recent device’s behavior – and this is something that is extremely common with rival tools. And when we are always happy to see web filtering, it contains only one filter to use for all the content of adults, while the story offers more than 25 filters and provides more than 100 MM Guardian.
Although the web filter of the Humpect prevents the content of adults, those rival apps do a better job to prevent anything that you can consider inappropriate, so it works better to overcome children’s eyes.
Our PACT does not have a deep social media monitoring like a bark, and it does not monitor messages such as bark or M. Guardian. If you are a parent who can overcome this level, you will need to look elsewhere.
In interface and in use
To start with our PACT, parents need to create an account – but once it happens, things become slightly complicated.
On iOS child devices, parents need to disable our iPhone feature to function properly. On Android, USB debugging needs to be enabled. This is slightly more technical than many other apps, but, thankfully, provides clear instructions about the method of performing the hump.
When you get apps, it is easy to use the hump. The interface is intuitive on all the platforms, even with easy navigation for early people, and for children, the Humpect JR app makes it easy for them to see their screen time allowances and other important information.
We have only received a complaint that the weat is a bit unfounded and history-but this is a completely aesthetic problem that has no effect on how the app works daily.
Supportive
The Humpect Support Page offers straight guides to configure and use the app as well as the solution section of the problems to fix the common problems.
If you need to get in touch, there is a web form that promises answers every day a week, according to reports that the reactions are both sharp and helpful. Humpect has also promised direct chat features, but somewhere else reports that the agents are rarely available – so it’s better to stay with the email.
Here is also a family resource page that provides links to helplines for families or children who can suffer.
This is a reasonable support offer that is similar to many other apps, but the bark and story are particularly good: Barack helps the help of aid videos and Costovio has its excellent care plus package that is included with its full product.
Comparison
In fact, it is easy to see where the key rivals of the Hummupat are better. With the bark, you get better social media, message and email monitoring for a slightly cheaper price.
In the meantime, the price of qasudio is a little higher, but it has better filtering and scheduling capabilities. And MM Guardian provides excellent filtering with more comprehensive messaging monitoring.
It is also worth noting that all three apps offer high -level reporting capabilities, making it easier for children to remain at the top of the behavior, which is not available with our PACT.
The final decision
This makes the hypocrite look a bit slightly, especially when the price and competition are considered.
It can have reasonable screenshooting, app control and screen time capabilities, but in most of these areas, competitors are better – and, as we have seen, other apps also move far beyond web filtering, social media monitoring and reporting. If you want a free product, a cost -off version of the tales is better than the equivalent of our pact.
And while the Humpect can be the strongest on iOS, rivals like bark and Kasudio still have a reasonable offer of Apple – even if they are strong on Android.
After that, the hump is only serious consideration if you are an apple-based family-and, nevertheless, keep the first features in weight. Everyone’s stringer, see somewhere else for strong alternatives.
