YouTube is updating the rules of its monetization to enhance the scrutiny of large -scale materials. The YouTube Partner Program (YPP), which rules the platform’s monetization policy, has always encouraged the creators to publish original and authentic materials. Now, with this update, video streaming giant is improving the identification of widespread and frequent videos to test them and potentially reduce financial compensation. The new policy will begin on July 15. YouTube did not mention the punishments, if any, the criminals will be received.

Tightening minetization rope for YouTube repeated videos

On a support page, the Google -owned video streaming platform announced a decision to “identify and revise its managing policy to identify and evaluate repeated content. The company highlighted that it always needs the creators’ real” and ‘authentic’ content.

The need for YouTube to publish the original content is no new demand. In fact, the company has always included the need in the upper part of its Manitation Policy, which states, “If you are making money on YouTube, your content should be real and authentic.”

There are two principles of this need, which also explain what the company means by large -scale manufactured and repeated content. The first principle states that the creators should not borrow content from anyone else, and if they do, they should change it significantly to claim their own.

The second rule is repeatedly focused on content and states that these materials should be made for recreational purposes or for viewers’ education, nor just to get sight. It also includes all click byte videos, low -attempting content, and template videos.

YouTube said the latest policy would better reflect that today’s immoral content looks like today. This may include new trends and tricks used by the creators to look at the fields. Although this post is not mentioned, the revised guidelines may also include AI-Assisted videos, where creators use AI-generated sounds to respond to someone else’s videos.

In particular, according to the company, content creators need to meet the minimum eligibility standards before making money from published videos. This includes 1,000 users in the past 12 months and either 4,000 accurate public watch hours, or in the last 90 days 10 million accurate public shorts.
