Then, on the paper, this is a solid choice of features, but can Kids Lux compete with big names with coastio, hypocrites and other strong rivals?
Plan and pricing
Kids Lux is available at two prices: basic and family. The basic package price is priced at $ 3.09/£ 2.39 per month if the annual payment is made, and the family option is 64 4.64/£ 3.59 per month with a long contract.
As the name suggests, the basic package is more limited – it works with a device, while you get ten support on the family option.
And when you get the app blocking using web filtering, location tracking, screen time limits, and both pricing models, if you choose the basic service, you lose more sophisticated settings such as remote screen view as well as more advanced location capabilities.
Specialty
Kids Lux has a great location tracking module we have seen on any parent’s control app. In addition to real-time tracking, you can see your child’s location on your map, you can see the history of their place in the last seven days-so that you can see the way, where they stopped, and how long.

Web content is filtered through a block list with more than four million URLs, and parents can easily add more sites to the list. Internet access can be completely locked if needed, and kids are not allowed to disable safe search settings built in browsers such as Bang and Google.
Kids Lux also allows parents to see browsing history and the use of the app. If the children’s device uses Android, parents can take a screenshot at any time and receive reports with the device from time to time with screenshots.
This is a good range of features, but it is worth taking a deep dive that is only available in the family version of the app.
For example, you only find alert for inappropriate search, nudity, new app installations and locations in the more expensive package. You will need to pay for a family package to see gametime prizes, location history, and see your child’s search, YouTube and trickyak activity. It is also worth noting that one of the children is not available in one of the prices. You can’t block the website in terms of category or type – unlike other apps, which offer dozens of options. Instead, you are limited to using the full Kids Lox Block List and adding your sites individually.
Other apps maintain data longer – some dates for Kids Lux are available for just seven days – and this app does not monitor text messages, calls or social media apps.
It would have been useful if different screen time limits can be set for different apps. In addition, there is no clearing functionality available with this app.
In interface and in use
This is an area where Kids Lux improves Excels. Download the app from Google Play or App Store, use an easy code to connect with the Child app on the children’s phone, allow the app necessary, and you are good.
During the setup process, GIFS clearly shows you what to do, which makes the installation even easier.
Once this work is done, the impressive design continues. In addition to being attractive, it is very easy to use, whose characteristics are wisely wisely in a straightforward and intuitive order.

Kids Lux, though, competes well with its space capabilities, is suitable in other areas, and is easy to use. And this is a bit cheaper than its two rivals: Family Package is more than $ 40 cheaper than Barke’s annual premium plan, and Kasudio is also a primary.
The final decision
When it comes to location features, Kids Lux is very strong, and its monitoring, reporting and screen time capabilities are all impressive – we like the option to reward your children for completing work.
When it comes to web filtering and monitoring social media, calls and texts, the kids locos is weak. It would be better if web filtering category. Beyond its screenshot capabilities, this app cannot monitor social apps, calls, or text at all. And the basic package is just that – it loses many features that justify buying children’s lockers in the first place.
Setup and use is easy, though, when it comes to location capabilities, it is strong, and it is cheaper than competition. If you need to monitor social media or if you want better filtering, Kids Lux are not ideal, but it is a good thing for cheaper location -based tracking.
