After announcing plans to abolish its free video streaming service at the end of last year, Amazon has now confirmed that the Freewa app will eventually be closed in August. But there is some good news for people who enjoy the Freeway’s TV shows, movies, and a vast TV library.
Amazon has recently informed users through an app notice that he will carry the freeway app offline (Via Takkarch) However, the free, free of charge, is not eliminating a large library of advertising content. The notice added that prime video freeway is a “new special home” for content, and users do not need any membership, and our library of hit movies, shows, and direct TV library, and direct TV library.
Even the notice includes a link to prime video and users are instructed to download the app and sign in with their Amazon account to view the freeway content, which is available in the app’s “free” section. Since Freewa is available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Austria, its library will likely be available only on prime video in these regions. It is not immediately clear whether Amazon plans to bring the freeway content to more places.
