The company announced on Wednesday that Google Work space users are eventually gaining access to jewelry within apps. Gems are experts in custom synthetic intelligence (AI) who can be programmed to perform specific tasks. They have been available inside the Gemini app and the website since August 2024, but now Mountain View -based Tech Dev has eventually expanded them to work space apps, including documents, slides, sheets, drives and Gmail. The jewelry will be available on these platforms by the Gemini side panel.

Gemini gems are coming to Google Workspace apps

In a blog post, Tech Dev announced the increase of jewelry within Google Work space apps. In particular, this feature is only available for paid individual and enterprise workplace account holders, who already have access to the Gemini side panel.

Jewelry can be considered as a smaller version of the Gemini Chat Boat, where users can add instructions once to perform specific tasks. Consumers do not need to add the same instructions repeatedly, which saves them. In addition, gems can also be fed by adding text texts, files and images to develop their response and improve accuracy.

With a new side panel offer, users will find some pre -created gems that they can work directly. Some of them include written editors, which provide constructive feedback on the written text. Mental storms, which provide inspiration and ideas for specific projects. Sales pitch ideas, which can create attractive pitches for clients, and much more.

In addition to the pre -produced jewelry, users can create jewelry from the beginning by clicking the “New Jewelry” button located in the upper part of the side panel in the menu of the jewelry. Google says consumers can enter the creation menu and explain the role and instructions to create a new mini. They can be programmed for writing and analyzing codes, making posts, providing relevant summary, and more.

Since this feature is connected with the workplace apps, users can also take out the output and open it directly to which they are also working. Once a essence becomes, it will appear on all work space apps.
