I am openly opening two residential birds in this spring, thanks to the Scout Bird Feeder of the Fatr Sanap. We occasionally get other visitors, but my two important friends stay several times a day, every day. I know this because Fathar Snap makes it easier to track, classify them, rate their videos and photos, and find more information about them.

Several times a day, checking the Fine Sisinap app has been a drug addiction to see who is roaming the feeder. I like to see forest life in the backyard and learn more about the various species of birds. Although the AI features in the app have been targeted or missed, the rest of the winner has been amazing. It is a great option for comfortable birds and more serious birds who want to identify and detect different species at their location.

Fatr Scout Scout Bird Feeder: Price and Availability

    • Feathers in Low’s 179.99 Fatrous Scout Bird Feeder

The cost of the Fineer Scout Scout is $ 179.99 and is now available for purchase on the Fineer Sesnap website. You can buy Wi -Fi subscriptions on the Scout and Fights Snap website to get up and run faster. Wi -Fi subscription gives you additional features, including AI Bird Identification, access to Fitrosnap’s Bird Book, Snap Rush, and more. The Wi -Fi plan costs $ 60 or $ 7 a month annually.

You can also buy the scout from various online retailers, including Amazon, Chi, Bass Pro Shop, and Lou.

Fatr Scout Scout Bird Feeder: Design

The plastic body of the scout includes a roof with solar panels. These panel removable camera charge so you do not have to remove it and manually charge it through the USB-C (though you can, if you live in a place where the sunlight is not enough to keep the unit charge).

The axis of the roof allow you to fill the central body with the seeds of your choice. The seed gravity stands in a lower tray where birds can rotate and resonate. It is in such a position that the camera directly points to your visitors and takes their images automatically.

In busy feeders, birds have two extensions of birds. If you prefer you can take them into the main body.

The whole feeder rides on a metal bracket, causing you to screw on a solid growing surface. The feeder is compatible with a vertical plastic post, which allows you to rotate the feeder to find the maximum position. When you are trying to find a good background, it works that highlights your bird visitors. Fathar Sanap also includes a strap of stability to help open the growing opportunities.

The removable camera easily gets out of the feeder’s main body. It has a resolution of 4 megapixels (1080p video), which can be occupied with a 170 degree wide field of view (vertically 90 degrees), which prefer the corner of the frame instead of the center stage.

The scout includes Wi-Fi connectivity on 2.4GHz band. Most of what you like about the scout will be included in the Fine Sisinap app through Wi -Fi. You will be able to see your visitors, save photos, apply videos and more. More on it below.

Overall, the feeder weighs 3 pounds empty and is doubled. You can get less than 9 cups of birds in the feeder.

Fatr Scout Bird Feeder: Camera Spring and Settings

The camera detects the movement within ten feet of the feeder and sets the shoots on a 4-24-inch focal range. It is a 4 -megapixel resolution camera, with a 170 degree wide field. According to the Fatrosnap website, photos and videos are high definitions, though this is a quite ambiguous term.

So let’s make it clear. Video Shoot 1080p and Photo Default to Defense 1280×720. And there is a light sensor to adjust the camera for even more clarification. The user manual notes that the camera contains an infrared LED flash, but I have not seen evidence of its use in my videos and photos. Maybe it’s a joke, or I’m not just looking at the effects of it, but otherwise, it doesn’t seem that any of my pictures have yet been activated.

    Look

To take the most of the camera capabilities, Fathar Sanipap recommends keeping his feeder in the sunny location. This manual also notes that you should refrain from facing the unit on the south side, as it will expose it with sunlight glare that can activate snap recording while no birds are actually in the feeder.

Fatrous Scout Bird Feeder: Feeder testing and positioning

The first thing I learned about the Fatrousnap Scout very quickly, is how important it is to position it properly. You would like to choose a location that is easy to access so that you can fill the feeder when needed, but you will also need to consider some other important factors.

    1. Positioning in a place where the squirrel cannot access the scout
    2. Somewhere in the sun, the solar panel will be hit frequently
    3. Positioning so that the birds don’t always be back late to the camera grip (it looks dark to the birds)
    4. Positioning the scout in a low -fit traffic area

That last factor was one who immediately for me the utility of the scout. Inspired. I first placed it in a position outside my back door, thinking that I could see the birds from my kitchen window. It was true, but that also meant that the camera took away a picture of coming and going through the back door of my house – with my dog. I think it would be a huge position if I want to use this feeder as an outdoor security camera. But the bird documents, I needed to move.

So I moved the scout to the back of my garage in the back of my garage. This proved to be ideal for stopping accidental snaps – though I still get some shots of my dog. This positioning was also very good to prevent squirrels and other non -birds from accessing the feeder.

At certain times of the day, however, the severe sun of Colorado shines on my yard, but not on the feeder itself, which is sitting under my garage’s Evo in the shade. So for most parts of the day, the camera is the backlet in view of the camera. This causes the image to hurt a little.

That said, at the second time of the day, when the sun hit the feeder exactly, I find the crystal pictures of the birds that go scout. A clean feature of the app is that when your feeder is getting the most traffic, FineerSinap will tell you: For my feeder, it is close to 11am of the day, the birds are backlot, so in the future, I will probably adjust the feeder or look for a new position.

It is very easy to move toward the feeder side, so minor adjustment is not a problem. Fully moving the feeder involves removing the screws in the mounting plate, and shrubing it to a new location. Also very easy.

Fatr Scout Scout Bird Feeder: App

Scout feeder itself, while seemingly sustainable for weather and years of use, is not worth $ 179 itself. It is just a plastic feeder, finally. The stars of the show are camera and fellow app, which offers the scout birds.

The main screen of the app is the place where you will see your feeder visitors. From there, you can save the picture of your choice, or request a video from the moment of the moment. It takes a while to show your video feed in the videos, but I have found them very clear and I enjoy listening to the birds as well.

My feeder tab will show you the relevant information about your account as well as the camera battery and the Wi -Fi connection status. Here, you can also click directly to the Fed button to see what is happening in your feeder in real time.

Bird Book Tab is the place where you will find all your saved birds. When you save a picture, you can use a built -in AI bird identifier to configure your birds in the category. Unfortunately, I have had little luck with the AI tool. Many birds were merely misinterpreted, or the photos of the AI tool were apparently not so clear. It was disappointing, honestly, and one of the main reasons that I upgraded the payment membership.

The flag tab is the place where you will get badges that you earn (mainly play the feeder for you), and the snap wrap, which gives you a weekly summary that birds have visited your feeder, how many, your high visitors and more. This is where you will learn what time to feed the peak, and you can use this information to keep your camera in a better position.

And finally, there is a settings tab, which has all the boring things you expect in the settings tab.

Overall, the app is intuitive and fun to use, but I am widely disappointed in the AI bird identifier tool. I think if it is more accurate and smooth, the Fatarasinap system becomes much more usable and fun.

Fatr Scout Scout Bird Feeder: Competition

Bird Buddy is a close rival with Father Sasnap. The scout is compared to Bird Buddy’s Smartbird Feeder Pro, which is priced at 979 (according to this writing, it is sold for $ 189). Solar options cost $ 349 (on sale in 9 219 according to this writing). So this is more expensive than a permanent winner.

Excessive money you get, you get HD 2K video and photos, which is much better than the resolution of the winner. And, you get it without subscription.

Birds’ friends also take bird visitors closer to bird visitors. The scout scenario is ultra -wide, so you get more than the surrounding area, and the bird itself is small in the frame.

While I love the experience of Fathar Sasanap, the bird’s Buddy’s photos and videos well beat the quality of the FatehrSnap.

Fatr Scout Scout Bird Feeder: Decision

In my home backyard, the Scout is a fun addition, and I enjoyed seeing the birds that meet the feeder, much more than I thought I would do. The installation is fast and easy, and I rarely, if ever, think of the camera unit, as the solar panels charge and charged with it. It is well built and I can imagine that it is used for many years.

The camera produces clear photos and videos, assuming that you have positioned as much as you have positioned by Lighting. But the images are not as fast or clear as Bird Buddy’s 2K camera can produce. And the app is easy to use and offers valuable information as well as a fun picture of various feeder visitors.

Given the quality of the feeder cost, and the quality of photos and videos compared to the competition, I feel like the app features that you need to pay a monthly fee should be included in the unit purchase price. And to be really useful, the AI tool needs a lot of disintegration. More frequently, the AI Toll misunderstood the birds that visited my feeder.

But except for these defects, the Fineer Scout is a ton of entertainment, whether you be a hobby burder or just a nasal that you are interested in seeing wildlife from your previous window. It offers a way to get closer to nature as much as you can personally, and really read near the wild birds. Unless you are looking for peaks in AI identity, the scout is an amazing increase in the back yard.
