If you have ever tried to send text messages from Gemini, even through Google Messages, you may have seen that AI can only send SMS text messages. This MMS will not send messages, and as terrifying the quality of these images is better than being able to send nothing.
Fortunately, matters are changing, with a indicator of the Android Authority who suggests that Gemini will have the support of the RCS in the near future.
The code found in the Google app V16.25.44 shows that Gemini will have the ability to “recover RCS capabilities” so when RCS itself is not being backed in Gemini, it should allow AI Chatboat to communicate with Google Messages and send more modern messages through Google Messages.
