Today we have the new One Plus Nord 5, the latest main line entry of smartphones in the company’s affordable series. The phone is launching next week with Nord CE5 and today we can share in boxing with inboxing to peek on the device.
Starting with the packaging, Nord 5 comes in a normal blue box we expect from Nord devices. It is also common for Nord Box that there is no mention of the exact model number in the front section, which makes it look like other Nord boxes unless you turn them.
Inside the box you will find a phone, 80W fast charger, and USB cable for data and charging. The OnePlus also includes a silicone case in deep gray.
Our review unit comes at the end of the marble sands, which has light shampain gold frame and a glassback. In the previous panel it has a very interesting model that demands crease and collision in the marble level and looks almost three -dimensional with the way it plays with light. This is a wonderful look that proved to be very difficult to capture the camera and should be viewed personally to be properly appreciated.
However, while the back of the phone is a very foreign glass, the frame is made of plastic. It feels like a down grade by Nord 4, made of a single, solid slab of aluminum and felt very premium.
You may have also seen that Nord 5 has a vertical camera on the back. Nord 4 uses horizontal layout but Nord 5 turns into a vertical sequence, which has been used by all other Nord phones in the past years.
Nord 5 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s scored on General 3 chip sets, making it the first Nord phone with a flagship grade chip. It also includes 50MP Sony Lyt-700 camera with OIS backwards and 50MP camera Samsung JN5 camera with front auto-focuses. This display also supports a refresh rate up to 144Hz in sports like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile.
