Security researchers at Safety Detective.net first saw the sale, claiming to offer a total of 3.1 GB, “61 million” “Verizon USA” records in the CSV/JSON file. According to the report, the author made a history of 2025 data, which identified the recent security violation.
The sales post allegedly included two screenshots such as data samples, which the safety detectives security team had to dispel its authenticity. The sample in the question contained 47 lines per picture, which included the total data of 517 records such as: such as data.

If the information is correct, then it is a serious threat to users, as the data provided can be used in several ways. For example, intimidating actors can use details to create fishing attacks by email, phone, or text. However, the biggest risk is to use the data to file a false claim, apply for loans, and to use identity theft using stolen information for more.
