It seems that the Google app is quietly checking a smart way to handle download

The Google Play Store can soon find a small but useful update on how download progress is shown in the notification panel. According to a recent AP tear, the latest version of the Play Store adds more polished and active notification to the app download.

This latest report is still limited to showing three apps or games at a time. But now, instead of the “see more” button, it tells you how many additional apps or games were installed recently. This change makes it easier to keep track without the need to open the Play Store.

One of the major issues in the first version that was being tested for this functionality was the “0 MB” confused display even after the download of the app. Now it has been replaced with a “recently installed” label under the name of the app, which makes things clear to users. You can launch apps directly from notification using the “Open” button, which now works as expected. Once the app is opened, it disappears from the list.

The version associated with these changes is 46.8.29-31, but the update has not yet been widely out. This means that most consumers will not see a new setting until Google moves the future Play Store release more extensively.

It is worth noting that the tears of the AP often highlight features in development. There is always a chance that the final version takes more time to look different or appear, and sometimes the features are completely dropped. However, this implementation looks closely.

Although this change will not change in a dramatic way how people use the Play Store, it improves the experience in a way that is easy to appreciate, especially for those who download a lot of apps.

In my opinion, this kind of small update is important. They show that Google is still focusing on the daily parts of Android, which often does not care for anyone. Although it is not visible to a great extent, making the download process clear and more active can help better us users interact with their devices over time. For one, I think it will be very helpful when I have a ton of app to refresh me.
