With the release of an UI 7 update based on its Android 15, Samsung updated a group of stolen protection and anti -robbers on his phone. These include the following:
- Lock to detect theft: This is basically an Android feature, which is available on Android 10 or more devices. It uses AI to find out if someone has snatched your phone from your phone and tried to drive, drive a motorcycle or run away. If the screen of your phone is locked immediately if the lock of theft detection is mobilized, and protects it from unauthorized access.
- Offline Device Lock: Again, this is a feature of an Android and it is not related to Samsung. The offline device lock is automatically lockded to help your screen protect your data, even when your device is off the grid or is in the wrong hands by detecting numerous failed verification efforts.
- Remote Lock: The remote lock is also part of the security features Android Sweet and lets you lock your phone screen to your phone number and is a quick security challenge using any device.
To enable any of the above -mentioned features, navigate Settings> Security and Privacy> Lost Device Protection> Theft Protection.
Further that Samsung is also encouraging users to activate ID testingWhich ensures that when your device is out of a trusted location, biometric verification is completed to change important safety settings. Head Settings> Security and Privacy> Lost Device Protection> Stolen Protection> Identification Check To enable the feature on your Samsung phone. You can then add your “safe places”, which are basically places where your biometrics will not be required to change sensitive information.
Samsung also highlighted Delayed in security In his blog post. The feature is a part of the identification check and starts an hour -long waiting period if someone attempts to reset your device’s biometric data, close the identification check, change the lock screen settings, shut down my search, or edit your safe places. This gives you time to lock your phone from a distance if you theft.
