Google is expanding its Gemini AI tools in the classroom with many new features for students, teachers and school administrators. Gemini is called for education, this update includes AI -powered tools without any additional costs for education in Google Workpress, which are in privacy protection and admin control built.
The Gemini app version is being introduced in which the Gemini 2.5 Pro is strengthened. It offers access to Google’s premium AI features, as well as high use limits, enterprise level data protection, and admin management. These tools are now considered to be the basic services in the workplace for education, which means that schools can use them with the same supervision, such as other Google Services.
One of the key updates is that Gemini in the classroom is now free for all work space for education edition. More than 30 new features are being added to help teachers more effectively planning lessons. These include tools tools to automatically make words with definitions and example sentences, making it easier to tailor the lessons of different learning levels.
Google notebook is also expanding LM, which is a note and a research tool. It already includes audio overviews, and is now getting video review that allows users to convert written content into short videos. Teachers using work space paid with Gemini Aid On can also create short videos using Google VIDs, and in farms, Gemini can now automatically produce surveys or quiz -based survey files.

Students can also use Geminal canvas to make the study of Personal personal personalities. This tool is currently for students aged 18 and older but will soon be available to young users. Gemini is also starting to include visuals like Araigram to clarify complex topics.
In addition, the instructor will soon be able to assign GEM and Customs AI agent called GEM and Class Materials directly through the Google Classroom. These features will also be supported by the Squology Learning and the Canvas Platform.
Google says it has taken steps to secure these tools for students. These include AI Literacy Training, Strong Content Filters for Consumers under 18, and Strict Privacy Protection. Education users will not be used to train Google models, and in the coming months, notebook LM will be available to small students.
Admins can control these tools in the admin console, monitor usage, and find in their domain through the Gemini app conversation. This platform has also been awarded the Common Sense Media Privacy Cell, which can give schools more confidence.
Although updates offer new options for teachers to learn time -saving tools and students’ learning, how well they work in classrooms will depend on how schools implement and monitor them. I think it is always good when new tools are increased free of charge to benefit the education sector. The more the tools are available, the more likely to learn students and practice what they have learned.
