Most people these readers know that Google Pixel phones are the best you can get if you prefer faster, reliable software updates. Most of the time, after being updated directly, you will receive a notification on your phone. And, if you don’t want to wait, pop into the settings app is very easy To see if you are on the latest version. If not, a sharp tap of the update button check will get you there.
Surprisingly, this system does not apply to Google’s Smart Watch Line in the Pixel Watch Family. On all three pixel watch models, your watch can be automatically updated in the latest version a week or more. In addition, there is no clear way in the OSOS settings to check an update or force an update. I have found this incredibly disappointing with my Pixel Watch 3. It is useless to know that updates are available, but my watch refuses to bring up a board.
I went to find a way to improve it, and initially came empty. Google’s official instructions just tell you to go Settings> System> System Refresh On your watch, but the assumption is that your watch will automatically test a refreshment and start downloading it if found. However, he never worked for me.
Thank you, I got Actual How to update the pixel clock.

How to update Google Pixel Watch Really

There are two tricks to update your pixel clock. Nor is it very clear, though when you think about it, the first is understood.
First, you need to disable Bluetooth. It seems contradictory because it will eliminate your phone. However, by doing so, the clock is forced to connect Wi -Fi instead, which you want to update (especially a big). It will take a long time to move the Bluetooth updates from your phone to your watch, so separating this connection greatly makes the process very fast.
So, the first step goes like this:
- Disable Bluetooth on your Pixel Watch Settings> Connectivity> Bluetooth. Scroll up to the bottom of the page and toggle the Bluetooth service in a “off” position.
- Tap the checkmark to admit that turning off Bluetooth disconnects your watch and can use more battery power.
- Next, make sure the Wi-Fi goes to go Settings> Connectivity> WiFi. Make sure the Wi -Fi service is “on” and that you are connected to the Wi -Fi network.
With these steps, your watch is ready to get updated. This is the place where things get guilty.
As mentioned earlier, there is no Check for updates Buttons on the pixel watches. However, there is a way to copy this process. Follow the steps below:
- On your watch, go Settings> System> System Refresh.
- On this page, you should see a picture like your Android version number and your current security patch history.
- If you believe you have a new update from you, Tap the watch icon repeatedly on this page. No one knows how many times you need to tap it. It can take anywhere for three to 15 seconds to tap the icon repeatedly. Finally, your watch will begin to be updated.
Once the update is started, just let it work. Follow any instructions that are a popup, which includes keeping the clock on the charger (before it is needed to have more than 50 % battery before it is refreshed). Once it happens, you’ll be on the latest version!
If this method doesn’t work for you, it can mean one of the two things. First of all, it may be that you are really up to the latest update. You can always check the Google Pixel Watch Security Bulletin page to see the recent release date. If you see a new update on the bulletin page but still can’t update it, the potential problem is LTE. If your pixel watch is an LTE model, it usually gets updated later than just models. This can happen a few days later. If this is the case, you will need to follow the above steps for every few days unless they work.
Obviously, Google can make it all easier for everyone and only add to one Check for updates Buttons to wear OS. Until then, though, this is a fool -proof method I used to keep my Pixel Watch on the latest software!
