Apple revealed a number of new features coming up with the iOS 26 release this year during the WWDC 2025, but according to a new report by Mark Gorman of Bloomberg, some other features are still underway.
The two features mentioned by Gorman are compatible with the cross -device for direct translation by Air Pods and the Wi -Fi Axis portals. Nor was it announced earlier this months, but rumors were expressed before WWDC 2025, so it is not surprising that Gorman is reporting that both features are still being worked out.
With a direct translation, this feature is to enable you to communicate directly with people in other languages, where it will be translated through your air pods in real time. This will be similar to the features of the direct translation, including phone apps in FaceTime and iOS 26.

The company did not want to take the risk of repeating the WWDC 2024, where it announced a number of features – including some tent pool technology – which had finally been delayed for months or has yet to arrive.

The WiFi sync feature will make public Wi -Fi access very easier. This will eliminate the need to log in to all your Apple devices at coffee shops or airports, such as public Wi -Fi portals. Once you call your iPhone, those login credentials will be compatible with your other devices such as your MacBook and the iPad.
According to Gorman, we did not see these features because Apple does not want to announce the features before being ready to be deployed. This caution is likely to be a result of a response after Siri and Apple Intelligence updates failed to preview the WWDC of 2024.

Gorman claims that the two unannounced features should arrive later this year, it is likely that with the arrival of iOS 26.1 in October, or perhaps, iOS 26.2 in December, assuming that Apple does not include them, either the developer has been released this summer during the update of the son or public beta.
