Gorman argued that many users are not willing to wear smart watches, mostly because they do not like wearing watches at all. I agree on this point, because I am one of these people. A watch, for many people, has a lot of accessories, especially when going to gold.
In addition, people who use Apple Watch often turn around the band with their current clothing. This may be a problem for some consumers, which prevents them from buying smart watch first. On the other hand, a ring will be easy enough to slip when leaving the house.
But perhaps most importantly, an Apple smart color will be new. The company is already working on AI -powered smart AR glasses. In fact, this is CEO Tim Cook’s latest obsession. But there will now be something to include a ring in the Apple wearing department, which is something that will draw new attention from consumers that are angry with smart watches. Apple’s ring can also work with Apple Watch, for users who own both products. Apple Watch, thanks to its screen, still bombard users with notifications all the time. A ring stops it, which really becomes a product that helps you reduce screen time.
And something else is that smart color will be excellent.

Gorman brought an excellent use for an Apple Smart color I didn’t consider: Folded with the company’s XR ((Extension reality) Apple Vision Pro or the aforementioned smart glasses, a ring can be used to provide more accurate input. For Meta Orion – a wonderful pair of smart glasses – the company is currently considering the wrist band to read gestures. An Apple ring can perform the same function for the company’s own XR devices.
Apple recently indirectly acknowledged that the absence of controllers dedicated to the vision pro was a mistake. VR gaming is the biggest reason why most consumers buy VR headset first place. In addition to the price tag of 4,499, the lack of controllers also damaged the sale of Apple’s headset.
Thus, Apple has contributed with Sony to bring PSVR2 controllers to the Lord Vision pro. Now developing a smart color can help the company set up how it wants to design its XR products in the future.

There is another thing that Apple can do in my opinion, if it makes a smart color: Challenge Samsung. When it comes to the galaxy ring, Samsung really has no competition with its biggest rivals in the United States – Apple and Google.
I think the two companies will perform well for entering this class and giving Samsung a run for his money. See what the company released in China to deal with domestic offerings: Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE.
