The AI start -up runway, which recently contributed with the AMC networks, is now trying to go to the gaming industry. The company plans to launch its latest platform, called Game Worlds, next week, Stuffy. The new tool runway allows users to create something like an interactive text -based game that can produce text and photos from AI.
Although the Game Worlds can only produce the basic design for now, the company’s CEO, Cristable Valezuela, is hoping that this will be the first step towards the use of AI in the gaming industry. Welnezuela told Stuffy “The video games created later this year are coming,” he added, adding that the runway video games will be partnership with companies, which will be able to use the company’s AI tools, while it will have access to video game datases to train its AI. However, the use of AI in the video games has already criticized the industry professionals, even as the SAG-AFTRA Union used voices against video game companies and voices for AI training.
The runway has faced his controversy over training his AI on YouTube videos and pirate films, despite being against the terms of the video platform. Nevertheless, the runway is seeking a copy of similar success with large TV and movie studios. In the AMC deal, the AI company will help create promotional content and “accelerate premature during development”. Prior to the AMC, the runway contributed with the Lines Gate to provide his AI for the studio’s “Pre -Production and Production Process”. As far as the gaming world is concerned, the runway will not be the first to introduce the Generative AI because the industry has already seen other examples, as Ubesoft has used a tool called Ghost Writer to create a video game dialogue.
