Oppo Find X8 is an excellent Android phone for ultra photography and video graphy, but most of us are extremely difficult to find and shopping for regional immunity.
I’m waiting for it for a long time, but finally, I spent some time with Oppo Find X8 Ultra. I was a great fan of Find X8 Pro who was before, especially his camera capabilities, and the ultra is based on it, so I was anxious to give him a spin.
Unfortunately, this is a Chinese model, so what I can test has some warnings, because some AI capabilities will not work in other regions. But this is also the biggest error of this phone – you can’t buy it outside China. Let’s dive and see what we are losing.

The search X8 Ultra pitched the back of a two -end wagon leather that was near the X7 Ultra last year. I was not the biggest fan of this design, so it is positive in my book as a whole. Oppo has also scored the sides of this phone and has eliminated an excellent fog on the back, which I prefer a lot. The flat display is another positive, which has a 6.8 -inch continuous, 120Hz refresh rate, and top brightness of 2,500 nets. The colors really pop up while watching the content on the ultra.
The fingerprint reader takes a big step with the introduction of ultrasonic module.
Another positive upgraded fingerprint reader. Oppo draws Optical Fingerprint Reader on the Find Search X7 Ultra for Ultrasonic replacement, which really works well. The Find X8 also packs an IP68/69 water resistance rating, which will protect your phone from hot water jets.
Let’s talk about the internal. Oppo Find X8 Ultra Snapdragon is powered by 8 Elite, the same chip will find you at a shock to the flagship in 2025. About the benchmark, it is hitting the numbers you will expect from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip. Whatever you throw on it, it is mostly easily handling.
My second major favorite feature on this phone is its battery, especially 6,100mah silicon carbon battery. Let me tell you, it’s difficult to kill this phone. In the days I am using it, there is not a day where it is less than 30 %, unless I am really pushing it. Search X8 is a very impressive smartphone considering the ultra -overall design and hardware package.

But everything is not good news, and the clear thing is that availability is a disturbing problem. If you want to take the search X8 ultra, you will find it incredibly difficult. I asked Oppo whether it would be launched outside China at any time, and the answer was not promising. I will not take your breath for its global release.
Let me focus on another frustration with the X8 ultra: the lost alert slider. Oppo replaced it with a unique shortcut button like the Apple Action button. You can assign it to silence it, activate flashlight and perform other actions. However, you can’t set it to open any app, so you are limited to OPPO’s default options. This is much lower than Apple’s capabilities.

It can also open the camera, which is weird because the quick camera is a dedicated button for control. I was not a fan of this button on the search X8 Pro, and I still miss the Find X8 ultra. The OPPO has not improved it, which is disappointing on this preare version of the device. Opens a double tap camera, and this is a touch sensitive button that allows you to zoom and out when taking photos. Zooming is decent, but it only works in the state of landscape, not portrait. It takes the same press photo, but you can’t even change the methods in pro mode or change the camera settings. This button is considered to be undeniable, and its unrealistic ability makes its addition so disappointing.

Place the button aside, and on a positive note, the camera performance on Find X8 ultra is impressive. There are four dedicated lenses: a 50MP ultra -wide, two 50MP optical telephoto lenses (with 3x and 6x zoom range), and stand out 50MP one -inch sensor primary camera. This snipper has a 69 % largest sensor than the S25 ultra and the iPhone 16 is 63 % larger than the Pro Max. The difference is noticeable, especially in low light. You can also take JPEG Max photos in master mode, using an inch sensor.
Yes, this basic camera is impressive. The details are correct, and the dynamic limit is terrific. The pictures are lifetime, without a walk. It can be one of my favorite phone camera in 2025. After 30x AI zoom is amazingly good, especially for buildings, which produce usable details. The 50MP ultra -wide is equally impressive, which occupies major details despite some more consolation.

I also like the results of 6x optical zoom. The details are something I have seen in a long time. The images are slightly faster and slightly saturated, but I can ignore it. I have taken a lot of shots with 6x optical lenses and like the results especially with telecommunication qualifications. Details are very good, and more sharpining is not in macro mode.
Search X8 Ultra cameras can be the best Android to offer the best Android in 2025.
As far as the video is concerned, I still believe the iPhone is excellent, but Oppo has done a great job. It can possibly match the iPhone and be the best Android video phone. You can record at 4K60, with a refreshing for 4K120, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is similar to the frame rate capacity. Stability is almost like Almost Gymble, butterie smooth. Switching between the lens is usually rough, but Oppo has made it almost smooth, which only has a slight change. Video details are also excellent. In the daylight, it handles well, and in the video at night, it performs well with tremendous shadows and minimal noise. This may be my just an Android video option.

You may have already guessed it, but I like search X8 ultra, even with stupid buttons problems and prices. The problem is that this phone is not available in the United States. In fact, it is not available anywhere outside China, at least at the point, which is a shame. You will have to import it, and sometimes, because of the price and career relevance, it is not worth the effort.
I have to give credit here to Oppo, as he has done Vivo and Xiaomi with his ultra-flagship-which is possible, especially with his cameras, keep emphasizing it. I hope, as a result, it will stop playing safe in connection with their flagship release by taking notes, Samsung, Google, and even Apple.
