Kinawa introduced two new artificial intelligence (AI) features for its visual communication platform on Thursday. Although these are the backbone features that will not appear on the front end of the user, they significantly improve its abilities in terms of platform integration. The first new feature is a deep research connector for Chat GPT. This allows Openi’s chatboat to answer questions about user canvas projects. The second feature is an open model context protocol server, which is designed to connect AI assistants and chat boats to many steps to Canva.
Canva get new features based on integration
In a press release, the visual communication platform described two new features in detail. Calling itself the first design platform to integrate itself directly into Chat GPT, Kenawa said that the Deep Research Connector allows the Open AI Chatboat to connect Kenawa and answer users’ questions about their files and plans.
Kenawa says that this feature will prevent users from switching to apps between apps and manually uploading their designs to Chat GPT, if they want to get an opinion from AI. The feature will work only when the deep research mode of the chat boot is enabled.
Interestingly, once it is connected, Chat GPT can also understand the context behind the user’s questions. For example, a user can say, “summarize our Q1 campaign strategy,” and chat boot will provide the user’s canawat data to find the right deck and provide a summary for it. Since all degrees have deep research available for Chat GPT users, consumers do not need to buy purchases in this feature.
The Visual Communication Platform has also added an open MCP server to enable third party chat boats to connect with the Canawa platform. The MCP was formed by Anthropic as a standard method to connect the AI system’s external data. With this, users can create design projects and decks by communicating with their favorite AI chat boot, can change the size of the files, import and export assets and more.
For example, a user can tell Gemini to “develop a pitch deck based on this chat”, and Google’s chat boot will develop a new canvas presentation inside the interface. When the server was introduced on Thursday, the company says MCP integration with Claude, Chat GPT, Sales Force and more will be available soon. No merger date was provided.
