When twenty iPhone 17 arrives later this year, it can be frustrated for people who prefer more compact phones. A new rumor claims that the screen size for the standard iPhone will increase, following in the footsteps of the current Pro model, which was debuted in the last fall.
According to the regular digital chat station, the iPhone 17 is receiving a collision from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. The same size in which the iPhone is 16 pro.
The digital chat station wrote on the basis of a mechanical translation, “I mentioned earlier that there are two new 6.3 small straight screens in the next generation in China, including the iPhone 17 screen sizes also 6.27/6.3,” the digital chat station wrote on the web on the basis of machine translation.

Last year, Apple hit the screen size on Pro models, but left the base iPhone 16 alone. The iPhone 16 Pro jumped from 6.1 to 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max increased from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. So far we believe that the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max will maintain the size of their iPhone 16 counterparts.
This iPhone is not a major conflict in the 17 -screen size, but in the past two years the growing trend of smartphones continues.
It seems that the DCS rumor confirmed the previous one of the display analyst Ross Ying, who predicted the same size for the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Pro screens last month.
Out of the size increase, the iPhone 17 panels should improve in other ways, some reports claim that a promotion display will be presented in the iPhone 17. This is Apple’s branding for fastest refresh rate screens, which is currently allocated for pro models. The Korean Publication Eight News has also reported that all the models of iPhone 17 will receive 120H Herz’s display this year.
Assuming Apple with its usual release schedules, we should see the iPhone 17 in September when Apple usually announces the next generation of the iPhone.
