If you are shopping at the store in Walmart, you can’t use Apple Pay or Google Pay.
When I stay through the gym through Walmart, I don’t always have my purse. In most stores, this is not a big deal because I have my phone with me, so I can use my digital purse to shop.
But Walmart does not accept Apple Pay or Google Pay. If I want to use digital payment in the store, I will have to use Walmart Pay at the Walmart app or Walmart -owned Fantax, OnePay Digital Prayer. You can still use the biggest credit and debit card while buying something in the store or online.
Digital wallets offer a payment without credit card, and they can keep your transaction much more secure than the use of physical cards.
In the past few years, the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet allow you to pay for the payment options as well as your digital hotel key, boarding pass and concert tickets. OnePauis can store 20 credit or debit cards, but it can only be used on Walmart and Walmart.com and cannot keep other digital documents or pass.

Why does Walmart not accept Apple Pay or Google Pay?

How to use Walmart Pay
If you download the Walmart app, you can add payment methods to the wallet in the account settings, then use them with Walmart Pay. The app allows you to store multiple methods of payment:

- Walmart gift cards
- Transfer of electronic benefits
- Health care benefits cards, such as HSA and FSA
- Paypal
If you are in a store, you can use Walmart Pay inside the app and then scan the QR code at checkout to pay your purchase. When the payment is completed, you will receive a digital receipt in the app.
Alternative Options of Payment for Walmart Pay
If you don’t want to use the Walmart app or OnePay purse, you can still buy in Walmart. If you are shopping in the store, you can use cash, credit and debit cards, Walmart gift cards, electronic benefits transfer, HSA and FSA cards, or PayPal (in some locations).
You will need a PayPal app to use PayPal in the register. From the menu, choose personal and QR code for personally payment. Choose a “show for payment” and a QR code will be developed, which can be scanned to take action on your payment through a cashier.
Walmart also accepts PayPal for online purchases. If your Walmart register does not offer PayPal and you want an additional layer of security for your bank account or card number, you can order this item online and pay your PayPal account.
You can also technically use your other digital wallet for purchase online at Walmart Online. You will need to enter your credit card number when checkout. In the digital purse, you can find your card number by clicking on the payment method in the wallet, then going to the menu in the top left corner and clicking the card number. You will see your card number (or virtual card number, if available), the expiry date and security code, which you will need to enter as a payment information on Walmart.com
