Lakes usually do not take the air out of my ships, but the latest details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup have come to a close. According to the reliable leaks Ivan Blas, the Galaxy Watch 8, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025, according to the renders, each will display the same Circle design that debuted with the original Galaxy Watch Ultra, and to present it gently, it is a great disappointment.
I did not have an ultra -shaped fan at the time of launch (or months later on my wrist), but I hope it will be limited to just one SKU for a particular buyer. For my fear, it seems that the Samsung score is going into everyone.

Let’s start clearly: The score just doesn’t look good. At least, not for me. This is a strange hybrid of Apple Watch’s round rectangular and Samsung’s usual circular style, a compromise that descends firmly in a human land. There is always a classic charm in a circular smart watch. It feels like a real clock and does not appear out of place with a dress shirt or leather strap. The first identification of their tech wearing square facial clothing like Apple Watch is very leaning, which offers more screen real estate and faster information setting, but still has a better impression.

Samsung’s Scopal tries to divide the difference and does not meet it. It does not have the beauty of the traditional clock or the beauty of an unforgettable utility of a square. Best, it feels baseless, and worse, it feels like a baby’s toys. Wearing are no longer just gadgets, they are accessories we wear 24/7, and seems to be the case. Many people can like the scope, but I am not one of them.
As the proverb is, the form follows the function, but here too, his circles stumble. The Galaxy Watch Ultra -shaped lineup adds significant bulk, especially for people with small wrists like me. I usually like a big watch, but only if its size is packed with dispersion and its increasing property provides unnoticed usefulness.
Samsung’s square design does not have the beauty of the traditional clock shape or the unforgettable utility of the square.
In direct words, if I am going to wear a large size, I want to be filled with a display space to provide large menus, more complications, and enriched user conversations. It is a circular circular without paying a proportional screen. It simply sacrifices relief and utility for visual discrimination that I cannot stay behind.
What I finish most is how unnecessary it feels. Samsung has historically done a good job of various types of offerings. When the Rapid Galaxy Watch 4 Series arrived to start a new era of OS, buyers got the selection of sporty or classic construction. The Galaxy Watch 5 series echoes that a two -dimensional view with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and the regular Galaxy Watch 5 model. Even last year’s lineup provided its circular Galaxy Watch Ultra as well as the circular Galaxy Watch 7.

I want to unite the product line. Swimming manufacturing, creating signatures, etc. But all your watches look the same, which does not mean that they will appeal to everyone. I like the dome shape of the Pixel Watch Line, and I like the Square Ash Apple Watch Series. I liked historically beautiful Galaxy Watch Line and its high classic models.
The rotating bezel is probably going back to the wrists with the Galaxy Watch 8 classic, but it does not give the same analog watch on a coarse rectangle. I realize that the square may appeal to some people, but I wish Samsung had not painted the entire line -up with the same wide stroke.
Tl; Dr: I hate Square. I want options. Samsung is not thinking of trimming every watch in the same objectionable form. It is going to cut the corner. Literal.
