I am checking 9 269 Bose SoundLink Plus, the company’s latest portable Bluetooth speaker. Thanks to solid construction and IP67 rating, it is sustainable, attractive and designed to join you. You can toss it in a small bag or clip out of someone to easily transport around the beach or city.
However, at 9 269, Plus falls into the land of a Bluetooth speaker. This is more expensive than rivals of similar size, including JBL charge 6, Sony Alt Field 3, and Sonos Rome 2, which costs $ 200 or less. Plus is about $ 100 cheaper than slightly larger options with more wide features, such as stereo speakers, Wi -Fi, or Smart Assistant integration. What it does, it works very well, but there is very rare that makes it stand by the pack.

$269
Nice

Bad

Sound Link Plus is a mono speaker that has Twitter, four passive radiators, and all -facing all -facing, which is expected to cost it. It can be attached to another plus so that they can be made a stereo pair or the other current General Bose Bluetooth speaker of party mode, where all the speakers play the same signal. Only one plus was sent for testing, so I didn’t have the opportunity to test the party mode (or stereo mode for this matter).

Sound link Plus is almost the same size of approximately with 20 oz water bottle and falls between the sound link link Max and the Sound Link link (the second generation). But the size looks great to find out how impressive it can be found.
It provides a good amount of thump in the lower end, and the overall tuning provides a clear sound with a crisp height. Billy has a good tone and appreciation of the boss line during Elish’s “bad guy” verse and curriculum, though the bridge is challenged a bit in the bridge, and feels bigger rather than hitting the boss, they are a bit compressed. However, the picture and the synthesis of the fingers are clean and the cruise is riding on top of the bass.
At the middle of the house, at the mid -volume level, the upper frequency can get fatigue, which I think is usually a matter of kissing products. This is especially true with the effects of high hats or metal sounds, as can be found in the “superbone” through the cough of the soul. If needed, these frequencies can be cooled a bit by EQ. And when Plus really comes out loud – about 80 80 % and more – some distorted.
Plus is wrapped in silicone coating and has a powder coated steel grill that is similar to the available black, blue evening, or lemons yellow completion. Silicone is durable, smooth and resistant to mark if he is left, but I was constantly erasing lunt, dust and pet hair when I attracted it as soon as I moved it to my apartment and out. Thankfully, it’s easy to clean.

The top button on pressing provides a satisfactory click. There are light indicators in front of electricity, Bluetooth and shortcut buttons. The shortcut button can be assigned to either connect the two Bluetooth speakers together or open the spotifies.
In addition to turning the speaker, however, I rarely used touch controls. The speaker does not provide any way to advance the tracks – just a play / pause button – and the kiss app is relatively NAME naked bones. You can select a source, the 3 band EQ (or select one of the four presets), assign the shortcut buttons, and adjust the volume. It was easy to stay in my music streaming app and control the volume through my iPhone.

The speaker has an IP67 rating, which means it can cope with climate up to three feet of climate for up to 30 minutes, which saves use around the pool or on the beach. I filled the tub and threw it. Plus floats, though it is encountered, you can’t hear it when floating. After sinking, the power button will blink the light white and the orange, which shows that the speaker’s USB-C port cannot be used until it is dry.
It lacks associated audio options, including many competitors, such as Bats Pill and Even Boses Portable Speakers such as sound link link home (both are less expensive). It supports a multi -point connection, which allows two Bluetooth devices to be connected simultaneously, but it lacks Wi -Fi, Spatif Connect, and Airplay Support. It is Bluetooth or broken.

The sound link plus is classified for 20 hours simultaneously, which is still known to be valid on the basis of my time with the speaker in moderate volumes.
Plus can also be used as a 15W power bank, for phone and other devices, for phone and other devices, which will clearly reduce playback time. I was able to charge up to 10 % of my iPhone 15 Pro under an hour. It’s slow, so I guess it is only useful in a pinch. It takes five hours to charge the speaker, so you would like to plug it at night before the beach day.

Sound Link Plus is a solid, durable, and loud Bluetooth speaker that fills the gap between Max and Flex in the Bose’s lineup. However, when considering its characteristics in relation to its cost, which is higher than the comparison portable speaker, it becomes a less likely likely. If you are a fan of Bose’s sound and are looking for a beach or pond companion for the summer, Plus is for you. And even if you are not a fan of Bose, Plus is worth considering, but you probably should wait for a sale.
