In a message uploaded to the YouTube Help Support page for its users, it has been confirmed that by July 22, the creators will need 16 or older creators to stream down the platform. Earlier, YouTube had made a condition that if an adult with an adult under the age of 13, apparently an adult, he would like to publish the content directly, but it would be between everyone aged 13-15 years old.
YouTube warns that anyone who is not older or older and continues to live on July 22 without an adult out of the risk of disabling its direct chat, as well as temporarily canceled with access to other features. YouTube added that its ultimate intention is to eliminate the direct series found to break the rules, and that those whose account is subject to sanctions will be forbidden to directly use a different channel. Doing so can eventually lead to an expired account. The Tamyotob Account has said on X that if their series is taken down, the creators affected by the rule changes will be notified by email.
Creators under the age of 16, who want to continue a direct series, will be able to provide access to an adult as an editor, manager or owner, which allows them to start a stream from an account connected to their channel. Earlier, it had to be done directly from YouTube’s direct control room. YouTube said that adults will have to be “visible” and clearly part of a direct series, YouTube said.
We have reached YouTube for more details, as the post does not provide any explanation about why they have decided to make changes now. But there is no doubt that with the current audience, there will be a blow to young creators.
