The T -Mobile satellite service, or just called T -satellite, begins July 23 with the star link, even other carrier users will be available across the United States. The company said the service could cover an area of 500,000 square miles where traditional carriers could not be reached, mostly remote places that are far from cell towers. The T -satellite will help texting both Android and iOS at the time of launch. Android owners will be able to send MMS, photos and short audio clips from the beginning, while iOS devices will be supported after that. On October 1, T -Mobile Data -based satellite service will enable.

The orbit of the Star Link already has 657 direct cell satellites that can provide coverage to T -satellite users. The carrier has been testing this service for some time, in the past to use it during the emergency. It enables, as Hurricane Milton landed in Florida in 2024. In February, T Mobile launched the beta version of the service texting feature, which will remain free until July when the full service is available.

The Beta program has been “incredibly successful” and has 1.8 million users who have sent more than a million text messages to “inaccessible areas” by any controversial provider, including national parks, “the carrier says. In addition, the number of messages received by users was three times higher than three times more messages, which shows that they were connected to the service until they were not really using it.

The T -satellite satellite will work with better selected apps to launch data, including Eco Wider, All Trails, Google, WhatsApp, X and more. The TMO mobile experience from subscribers will be able to access the service for free. Everyone else, including AT&T and Verizon users, can pay $ 10 a month for access. T -satellite free 911 texts will also prepare non -subscribers and regardless of the career later this year.
