McCons Taho, MacBox and Mac’s next OS, are now in their second developer beta. The new version contains some small changes and updates.
First of all, McCons Taho’s second giant beta -ordinary Finder app brings back the icon. Surprisingly, in the first beta, the app’s icon colors were reversed: the blue was on the right, and the white was on the left. Some people dislike this change, and with the other son, Apple has solved this opinion and returned the icon to its original colors.

The migration assistant app icon is also designed a bit. Apple has given it a fresh coat of paint with Micros 26 Taho.
Meanwhile, the system settings now have the “Show menu bar background” option if you are not fully fans of the menu bar shape with liquid glass. With this option, you can return the raised background to the menu bar.

Also, now with the Macos Tahao’s giant 2, you can enroll in beta testing from your Mac for air pods firmware. To do this, you should connect your air pods to Mac, then, from system settings, click on the Bluetooth menu.
After that, you can click on the symbol (i) with your air pods, scroll down, and then click “Air Pods Beta Updates”. There, you will find a toggle on your air pods to enable beta firmware.
But that’s not all. The second giant son also brings many small opportunities here and across the Micros Tahu. One, the release note has a new recovery assistant feature, which was included in iOS 26. Apparently, it can also be used on Mac.
The rumor is that you can now use Apple Intelligence even when Micros boots Tahao as a default from an external drive, but has not yet been confirmed. Earlier, you could do this but you needed to use the terminal to form it. However, this is currently unconfirmed information.
Macos 26 Taho is now available to test the developers. The first public beta should be released in July, and the official version should be available in the fall.
