- Google has allegedly reduced its smart TV group budget by 10 %.
- Despite the shortage, the company promises “an interesting roadmap”.
- This change could affect a quarter of 300 strong group members.
Google has made it not easy to be a fan of Android TV. Although this platform is full of capacity, it has been surprising to see that after that, years by year, it is treated like a subsequent thinking. Why is no one making a high -end Android TV hardware? How is gaming on the platform completely neglected? If you have any hope of Google, we may have changed things and breathe some fresh life in Android TV, we have received some bad news for you.
According to InformationGoogle has deducted some important deductions in its Google TV and Android TV programs. Its smart TV group makers may be affected by a quarter of any 300 employees, as Google has reduced its budget by 10 %.
This news is after months of efforts to reduce Google’s platforms and devices group size more widespread, in which the company offers to buy lucky (and get rid of the mud)-of which it is a Smart TV group. This latest period only targets Google’s resources for further development of Google TV and Android TV.
Although Google may not be less interested in the large screen of your residential room as a platform, this news comes with words to dominate between YouTube’s large streaming platforms, and really highlights how the company’s approach is dissolved here, if it is too much to do with Google, but if it is very low in this area, Google is very low in this regard. Sticks, but apparently it is arriving in this regard.
It is not that Google is fully abandoning Smart TV, and the group is allegedly seeking to meet the loss of personnel immediately by increasing international services. A spokesperson tells Information:
We are investing in Google TV with new consumer experiences, including the next integration of Gemini. There are more than 270 million Android TV devices, and we are committed to advancing the environmental system with an exciting road map.
We would like to see that Google really makes its smart TV efforts a sign, and when words like their voice are encouraging, they are really difficult to solve against the bottom line tricks like a 10 % kit in the budget.
