- The latest version of the Google app allows users to upload the video for five minutes to Gemini for analysis.
- Gemini has supported video analysis through YouTube integration, but rivals like Chat GPT have given the option to upload videos directly to AI assistant, so Gemini is eventually catching.
- In addition, the updates of the future will allow users to record videos directly inside the app, which will only increase the existing photo, as seen through our AP’s tears.
Update, June 20, 2025 (05:56 AM et): Google VP Josh Woodord formally announced that uploading videos have now been supported on the Gemini app for everyone on Android and iOS. Helping to upload videos to Gemini on the web is coming soon.
The original article, June 18, 2025 (04:24 AM et): Google has been permanently added to Gemini to help better compete against other AI -based digital assistants. Chat GPT already allows users to upload videos for analysis, but Gemini lacks this easy feature. We have long been seen that the ability to analyze videos is coming to Gemini, and we also presented the initial demo. Long (joint) videos can be attached for five minutes, which should be mostly enough for cases of comfortable use.
If you need to analyze a long video, you can upload it as a non -list video on YouTube and then paste the link in Gemini to analyze it as a YouTube video.
This feature is slowly coming to the front of the users, so you may need to wait to see at your end. To check if you have a feature directly, you can click the Plus button in the gym text box, select gallery or files, and see if you can select any video files. If video files are fallen and not uploaded, you have not yet available this feature.
Although the video analysis feature is very good, it does not connect with the camera option, which appears in the attached sheet. As a result, when you can click on a picture from inside the gym to connect an image to an indicator, you can’t record the video. Google is familiar with this extent, as the code in this app version fixes this monitoring. We succeeded in activating the feature to give you an early look at it:

As you can see, Gemini’s camera View Finder will soon allow users to easily switch between clicking on photos and recording videos. A video demo of the upcoming feature in action is:
This video upgrade is not currently available to users in the camera View Finder inside Gemini. Increasing the feature to cover the videos is meaningful for Gemini, so we hope it will see it turning it soon. We will continue to update you when we learn more.
