Acer Swift 14 is all over the whole. It has powerful options for such a portable laptop, extraordinary battery life, and ports. The keyboard and track pads are solid, which is not always given at any cost. But screen and webcams are minor, and the speaker is totally terrifying.
Battery life, performance and ports are important, and it makes sense to prefer them, even if it means cutting somewhere else. These are the types of hard trade to make the budget laptop.
Unfortunately, Swift 14 AI is not a budget laptop.

Swift 14 AI Our Review Configure A Core Ultra 7 Series 2 258V (Lunar Leak) Processor, 32GB RAM, and 1 TBSD come in MSRP for $ 1,299.99. There are numerous Swift 14 variations, of which a $ 1,199.99 AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 Config (which I have also experienced) and a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus / Elite model which has a better screen. Esar also creates a 16 -inch Intel version with a LED screen, and it’s actually $ 50 Cheap Compared to 14 but with less Ram.
On 2.95 pounds and 0.63 inches thick, Swift 14 AI is not the most thin or lighter, but it is in Four USB Ports-DO USB-A 3.2 and two USB4-as well as 3.5mm audio jack and HDMI 2.1. I am addicted to a thin and light laptop in this price range that only a couple are USB-C ports, May be A USB-A or a proprietary charging port, and an audio jack. Keeping all this on the laptop of this size is a cure when you need it.

Other major behavior, Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Raizen AI model are both performance and battery life. Both are very good for everyday productivity such as many chrome tabs, editing Google documents, long video calls, and repeated use of messaging apps such as silk and signals. The Intel model is an impressive battery sapper, which lasts from sunup to the Sunday in the past under a light workload. In our battery roundown test, it lasted for about 17 17 hours -15-inch Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition and was only beaten by new surface-based Snapdragon laptop 13 inches and last year’s HP Omnibok X.
AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 version, which is close to the Intel lunar lake, sacrifices a little battery life for a different occupation design and color, better multi -core and graphics performance. But it can still run through an extra long day of use and then some, and yet our battery roundown test has been found for 15 hours.

The keyboard and trackpad shows are not stoppers, but they are solid. The keyboard feels slightly thin, but it has a decent size with a small feedback to just not feel polite. The mechanical track pad is a decent size, clicks easily, and is surprisingly calm. It has a design in the top right corner that reminds you of a nerve path. It shines when the nerve processing unit (NPU) is being used, to indicate that it is “thinking”, but it sometimes becomes unexpectedly bright even during everyday tasks.
For the first time, boot up Swift 14 AI and you have met with two of its most easily visible flaws: a minor screen and terrifying blotware. The 14 -inch 1920 x 1200 / 60Hz display can reach bright 400 nets, but it looks slightly lower and has a lack of visual cartoon. Your eyes may be adjusted with it, but as you find a better screen on something like a level laptop or MacBook Air, you miss Swift’s shortcomings.

Stamping the blotware is not too difficult, but it is a bit more invasive than the other laptop. You may want a dropbox anyway, but I suspect you want you to surround you with subscription offers as you set your computer. Then there is a shortcut for booking.com and popups for Google Play Games and Free to Play Drake. Bluetware is a way to subsidize the price of a laptop and keep the price low, but I’m not sure that Swift 14 AI is cheaper enough to justify it. But at least it is easy to install.
Unfortunately, you can’t install the speaker or webcam. Two speakers are a crime against setup music. You are better than cranking the volume on your phone. Zoom and Google Met calls are always very fast or very calm – I had to change the volume during meetings to adjust the voices of different people. And the webcam is just a little better. I have seen that it has been presented a fine picture in a bright light, but once you come to the lower light, it is separated. Acer’s built -in software provides an increase in image, but it increases the opposite and overshipes, which makes everything bad.

You can definitely get a bad laptop for the maximum amount of money. But for the same price l you, you can get the same or similar processor with Lenovo’s yoga slam 7i (just a touch larger, worse with a worse track pad) with a very high -screen, better speaker, and equal battery life. Or you can spend a little more and get an excellent OLED screen and asus Zenbook S 14 with a slightly better speaker (though a low USB-A port). And if you can work on the arm with micos or windows and put it with fewer ports, then 13 -inch MacBook Air M4 or 13 -inch level laptop is much better than at least all packages.
A part of mine still really likes Swift 14 AI. Performance and battery life is at the top, the selection of the port is thin and the light of light is excellent, and almost everything is at least decent. If you can get it well under its 3 1,300 MSRP – somewhere, about $ 1,000 – minor screen and terrifying speakers are more forgiving. And it looks like it is sold quite times. Just don’t forget your headphone.
