- Gemini has finally got another feature of Google Assistant in another long wait.
- Chatboat can now identify the songs that play near the Google app using the song’s search feature.
- Earlier, Gemini will recommend using third -party music identification when asked to identify a song.
Gemini lacked many features of Google Assistant at the time of launch, but Google’s stable updates have brought it close to being a comprehensive alternative to the Legacy Voice Assistant. Now, just a few months left unless Gemini completely takes Google Assistant’s space on Android phones, Chatboat has achieved another long wait.
Google Assistant has long supported the ability to identify long -playing songs. Until recently, Gemini did not support this feature and recommended third party music identification apps when asked to identify a song. However, 9TO5GOGLE About reports that in recent weeks, Chatboat has finally picked up the song search feature.
When you ask Gemini to identify a song, it now opens a new screen that has a dynamic circle and when you play, sing or listen to a tune. Once it recognizes the song, it shows the results in the Google app as a response to the Gemini chat. Because of this, the name of the song is not safe in your chat history, and if you forget it, you have to check your Google Search history.
Although the search for Song is not back in Gemini and relies on the Google app, it is a welcome addition that provides another reason for changing Google’s auxiliary loyalists. Have you moved to Gemini on your phone, or are you still using Google Assistant? Tell us in the comments.
