    Joe Mark / Android Authority

Given the date of the launch before the rumors of August this year, the Pixel 10 series is exactly around the corner. As is customary with every Google Product, when we approach the release, the leaks are really starting fast. So far, we have seen that all the information is pointing to a repeat update that has no meaningful change in the design, except that a little bigger camera bar in the back.

Although they may not be able to see this different from their predecessors, we expect the new devices to improve the Pixel 9 lineup in some important areas. Let’s take a look at some possible (and probably something more optimistic) upgraded when we can see when Google wrapped Pixel 10.

    Tenser G5 improvement

For the SOC fabric, Samsung has been made a lot from a switch from TSMC to the Pixel 10 series. Taiwan’s chip maker is the best in the business, so it is not irrational to understand that this partnership will take Google’s customs silicon to the next level.

TSMC’s 3NM process is said to be developed, Tancer G5 is expected to promote decent promotion in performance and graphics, as well as better AI functionality will take a slight sharp TPU. Like the previous generations, Tancer G5 will contain a mixture of Google designed and off -shelf IP. It is hoped that using TSMC to make chips, the final result will be a pixel 10 series that has a high -speed baseline performance that requires less throuting to keep things cool. Better performance and longer battery life can be another benefit – let’s cross our fingers for it.

    The appropriate face ID

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

I have used a lot of Google’s released pixel, and at least in recent years, the most disappointing aspect of this product line has been biometrics. Pixels were sharp and easy rear fingerprint sensors from 1 to 5, with a remarkable discount of Pixel 4 (more on it at a moment). Since the major design coming with Pixel 6, the Google Under -display has gone with fingerprint scanners (with mixed results) and, recently, has to face unlocking.

Unlike Pixel 4, which contains a full 3D face unlocking system, recent pixels determine your identity using a single, 2D selfie camera. Although this phone is now considered safe enough for unlocking and even banking apps, it still has no patch on the iPhone’s face identification and is useless in a low light situation. Pixel 4 is the only Google phone that has come close to the speed and convenience of the Apple solution, and at the time it was even more better, as it also used the Soli radar chip to unlock the Face Face face for a fast response.

Pixel 4 is the only Google phone that comes close to Apple’s face identification speed and convenience.

Since then I have sought the appropriate IR face return to the Pixel phone. The good news is that it looks like it is in Google projects. The bad news is that it may not be ready for Pixel 11, with no rumor for the underplay IR camera system. I think it’s not too late than ever.

    Salmer Bezals

    Paul Jones / Android Authority

For Google last year’s Pixel 9 series, finally, we began to give us a harmony on all four sides of the display, but borders are still more complicated than other flagship phones. This appears especially when the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max is seen with (the picture above), as Apple downs the Bezels an incredible 1.3-1.4 mm (depending on the model). Samsung Galaxy S25 has similar screen borders. In comparison, the Pixel 9 Pro is seen in the date and less than its rivals.

Unfortunately, by deciding according to the Pixel 10 Pro recently Lake Protype, we are probably not getting any significant improvement in the area. Suppose it is very close to the final design that Google will unveil in August, it seems that there will be no changes in Beles. If this is the case, we have to expect that the Pixel 11 series will be re -designed to a more large extent.

    Long battery life

    Robert Triggs / Android Authority

In recent years, the most common complaints about Pixel phones have been about non -standard battery life. And it seems that Google is well aware that longevity has been a fundamental concern since it introduced customs tanker processors. We hope that TSMC -made tanker G5 will at least improve battery life, but Google should not keep all its eggs in this basket. With any fate, the company is also working on software correction, which will provide help at a longer lifetime than the Pixel 10 cell.

Google’s recent release, Midrej Pixel 9A improves Pixel 9 in some battery life tests. You hope, since it includes a large battery as well as a large battery and generally low demanding special sheet. The benefits were not as important as you could expect, though, it is clear that Google still has enough work if it is to provide a really impressive battery life in the Pixel 10 series.

Q2 magnetic wireless charging and accessories

    Dhu Bhutani / Android Authority

Another wound point between Pixel 9 owners is a lack of magnetic wireless charging. Magsaf tech makes the iPhone incredibly easy, and it is standardized by wireless power consortium and made it available to more manufacturers. Apple users have been able to enjoy it only from the 2020 iPhone 12, but in 2023, QI 2 are showing a slowdown in jumping on the board -making board after adding the same magnetic charging tech.

Samsung described its Galaxy S25 series as “Qi 2 Reddy”, which means you get at least 15W charging speed but without secure attachment. The situation is even worse with the Pixel 9 lineup, as it does not support the Qi2 at all. Out of magnetic charging, Q2 has increased support for magnetic accessories such as grip, stands, tripod, wallets, robbers, and motorcycle mounts.

Google needs to accelerate it and offer full magnetic Qi2 wireless charging experience for Pixel 10.

There is a job for magnets on Pixel 9 – you just have to buy a case in which they can be added – but Google really needs to advance it and offer a full magnetic QI 2 wireless charging experience for the pixel 10 series out of the box. Thankfully, it seems that this can be exactly what we are getting. The recent rumor of magnetic Qi2.2 refers to the “pixels” environmental system, including a charger, color stand, and charging stand along with Pixel 10. The iPhone 17 is rumored to support charging 45W with a new Q 2.2 meg Safe charger, so the speed of wireless charging can also come in Pixel 10.

    Storage of at least 256GB

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

All twenty models in the Pixel 9 series launched with 128 GB storage. With the passage of time and the media, with the maximum space, in 2025, the money of this palletry is not so good that the flagship phone is not so good. When Google launches Pixel 9 in the UK, it presented a 256GB model for the same price, such as a pre -order bonus 128GB version. It felt like a proportional entry that it should have been twenty storage amount on the board.

I think it is fair to argue that 128GB is still acceptable to a cheap device like Pixel 9A, but Google needs to work better when it comes to premium products. Base Pixel 10 Pro models should have 256GB storage, and if it applies to standard Pixel 10, it will be great. Large storage options for regular Pixel 10 will also be welcomed, as Pixel is currently at the top of 256GB, which is only 512GB/1TB options for Pro models.

    Even smaller model

    Robert Triggs / Android Authority

I used the iPhone only once in my life, and it was the iPhone 13 from 2021. Although I returned to Android (and Pixel 8) after this short relationship with Apple. I still loved about the iPhone. There was at least no sense in the hand – the small size and pleasant curved corner was made for the best aerganomics, and it was also very light.

When I learned that Google would offer a small pixel pro model starting at Pixel 9 Pro, I thought it was a great idea. However, this is a bit larger than the iPhone 13, which I like to use. And although in the size of the past few years (especially profession), the small iPhone models have grown in size, but the Pixel 9 Pro is still a few centimeters long and the iPhone 16 Pro is wide than the Pro, which has come up at the same time. Since the pixel also has big bees, this size difference is even more prominent when you compare the phone along with the phone.

I would like it if the Pixel 10 iPhone 16 Pro can shrink to the size of the Pro.

I still admire Google to squeeze the same tech from the XL model into Pixel 9 Pro, but I would like it if the Pixel 10 could shrink a little a little further. If the iPhone 13 is not in size, at least the latest iPhone Pro is enough to match the size. With small bells, it can be the best size of the body and screen for most people, especially those of us who like to keep things compact. Google has already improved the rest of the corner’s radius by slowly increasing and flattening the sides – reducing the overall influence for me would have to cake on the cake.

    An action button

    Ryan Hans / Android Authority

The phone has played with plenty of phone addicts to add an extra button to your phones, but as it is often, it was Apple that made it really fashionable. The iPhone 15 Pro models removed with a mute switch in favor of a customized action button, and this has proven to be quite popular (though Apple definitely works more with it). With the iPhone 16, Apple added one step further and added another button – camera control – to a more mixed reception.

In Android OEMS, OnePlus is famous for its alert slider, but it didn’t take long for the OnePlus 13T and its shortcut key to board the train. To move forward, the current company of Carl PE, nothing, recently introduced its essential key. It is used to save the necessary space of the AI Organization tool on the Phone 3A or Phone 3A Pro, which is very sophisticated, but it would be better if this button re -enabled.

Now, I’m not recommending that Google copy Apple straight and add two new buttons to Pixel 10. The Power Button Double Press Hint that opens the camera (or wallet) has long been a famous feature of the pixel, so I believe Google can do something very well with another Superish key.

The Pixel 10 Series is designed for the August 20 revelation, so we are not too late to wait unless we see what features Google brings us. Tell us that you are hoping to see in the comments, and don’t forget to vote in the survey below!
