    tl; drag

    • T -Mobile is shaking its prepaid offer with three projects, with 40 to 60 months every month for a line.
    • New projects look like massive upgrades, but there are some potential catches around the priority and family waiver.
    • New projects look like you will find other prepaid projects based on the T -Mobile network, though they are better or not unless we know much.

Earlier this year, T Mobile unveiled new experience of its experience, which largely felt like a step in the wrong direction for its postpaid service. Now, T -Mobile has returned with a shake -up in its prepaid projects, and this time, new offerings may reality. Unfortunately, “maybe” is an operative word.

What do you think about new plans for T -Mobile prepaid?

Here are some red flags, but before I reach it, let’s start breaking the new projects that will be implemented on June 24:

    • Starter monthly: Like the former 10GB plan, at a cost of $ 40, this option now provides an upgrade 15GB of data.
    • Unlimited Monthly: For only $ 40 every month, consumers receive unlimited talk, text, and 50GB high speed data, as well as unlimited 3G hotspot access-$ 10 cheaper than the last base unlimited project.
    • Unlimited plus monthly: An unlimited monthly project includes 5GB of high -speed hotspot access (unlimited 3G), unlimited texting to 215 countries inside the United States, and unlimited conversation and text in Canada and Mexico.

As you can see, the revised projects are not dramatically different from their predecessors, excluding some growing improvements. Taxes and fees are different, but it is in accordance with the previous prepaid plans. In particular, new projects look a bit cheaper or at least offer better features than the options they are changing.

Something new? The latest projects all come with the same 5 -year -old guarantee in which T -Mobile’s postpaid and metro are increased by T -Mobile users. T -Mobile, like the AT&T level -up prepaid plan, is pulling a page from another competitor’s playbox by offering a way to upgrade the postpaid. Dodged smartphone equation, new feature T -Mobile prepaid users allow users to upgrade the best T -mobile postpaid deals after 12 months of payment, without any credit check.

None of these things look bad, okay? They may not be, but some potential catches are noteworthy. First, the correct details of the family waiver are not clear. The information provided shows that you will pay only $ 30 in each line for two or more lines in these three projects, which looks suspiciously unless it is either limited time advertising or no other catch that is not easily manifest.

Even seemingly, the overall pricing looks low, which raises questions about potential compromises-especially about the preferred level of data.

Currently, the T -Mobile Prepaid Plan offers a high priority level of data than other prepaid services on your network. It is understandable that T -Mobile has quietly reduced this priority to align this priority with T -Mobile and other value -based options. Such a reduction will explain less prices, and T -Mobile has a history of introducing such changes. However, the company initially rejected that its experience plans do not include taxes.

Another possibility is that the early 50GB rapid data maintains high priority, after which consumers face low level priority. If true, this approach will not be significantly different from its previous prepaid projects.

Bottom line: The latest prepaid project looks hopeful, but I will definitely do my homework before jumping, as there are some unknown here. I have reached the T -Mobile for its preferred level, though companies are usually tough about the QCI level, so it is very likely that I will not get a direct response here.

If the priority has really been reduced, the value proposal is somewhat reduced, though these projects will still align with many other T -mobile -based prepaid rivals.
