I am not against the payment of subscriptions. Last week, I wrote a piece of subscriptions that I would happily pay, especially focusing on people who value my daily life. However, I have my own limits.
On Wednesday, the head of Samsung’s digital health suggested that the company is once again considering a health subscription level that can shut down new features behind the paywell. Unlike the current system, which offers new features to all health users, a subscription will divide the user base into half.
In cleanliness, no one will need to buy subscriptions to continue access to Samsung Health. There is no indication that the entire service will be played with salary. Base fitness tracking features, including heart rate and stage tracking, will probably be accessible to everyone. However, certain features of the future can be saved. It can include an UI 8 Watch items that come, such as guidance and vascular burden at bedtime.
The timeline, specific features, affected models, and even more importantly, the price is currently unclear. For me, the premium level of cash cough, Samsung Health will need to add significant price to my fitness government. But I want to hear your thoughts, especially if you have a galaxy watch.
The questions are:
- Are there any special health tracking features for which you will pay are not available on the Galaxy products yet?
- How much will you pay for the Samsung Health Subsection that offers the above and more?
- Do you think health app subscriptions (including Garman Connect Plus and Fit Bit Premium) are necessary to reach your health goals? Do you currently pay someone?
- If Samsung is not health, what is your health tracking app in 2025?
- Do you trust the Samsung Health data?
