Sometimes it feels like 5G has just arrived here. Rapid data speed and low delays of wireless quality promise to help provide amazing capabilities. Analysts believed that 5G surgeons would allow remote medical processes. Many people are expected to see highways full of vehicles operating with smart cities so far, where everything from traffic lights to collecting waste will be effectively operated using 5G.
It is estimated that only 5 years are still available until 6G service is available. It is unlikely that we will see 5G keeping our full expectations. Now that the chapter is ready to close at 5G, the third -generation partner project (3GPP), which consists of telecom standard organizations, met in Prague last week to discuss potential architecture behind 6G radio.
The meeting in Prague last week included the technical details group (TSG), which is believed to be the first quarter of 2027 studies. 6G explanations will come from meetings that will be part of the 3GPP release 21. The latter will stop the 6G offer before the first 6G offer in 2029.
“From 6G, they are expected to identify AI model management, data collection, individuality, and performance verification of various 6GA capabilities needed the needed useful use as they are ready for radio, core networks and management, facilitating network performance and promoting network performance.”
-Nokia
After the meeting last week, both Nokia and Erickson commented on what they expected from 6G. The Nokia blog made a timeline call for a 6G trade launch by the fourth quarter of 2029. Nokia says 6G technology will allow phone batteries to run longer. The company also said that 6G deployment would require a large quantity of spectrum. The current spectrum is planned for 6G and 5G. It will use 5G-6G multi-rate spectrum sharing (MRSS). Suitable to share the spectrum with 5G6G.

Although 4G/5G dynamic spectrum sharing is already one thing, it is not as effective as 5G-6G multi-rate spectrum sharing (MRSS). For its part, Erickson also says that the MRSS will play an important role in transfer from 5G to 6G. Both Nokia and Erickson expect AI and machine learning will play a major role in 6G standards. Erickson says AI will be used to provide better recipients, measurement of AIID’s movements, AI -added positioning and much more.
