    • Google introduces new lock screen clock customization options in Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1.
    • In the second beta release, the company has added another customization option for the lock screen watch.
    • This new option allows you to switch between “round” and “fast” font styles for a default lock screen watch.

Google rolls the Android 16 Qpr1 beta release last month, introducing a new custom option for the lock screen watch. Beta Blood contained the latest version of the “Wallpaper and Style” app, which included a new slider that allows you to adjust the appearance of the clock. Although Android 16 QPR1 does not offer additional customization options at the bet 2 level, a user has stumbled upon a hidden feature that can help you further adapt to the watch design.

The Reddate user ALS26 found out the feature of the hidden customization while testing the new lock screen clock customization in Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2. You can mobilize the Editor by tapping the look screen preview preview, and it brings subtle changes to the font style.

As shown in the attached screenshots, it converts the hidden option clock font into a default “goal” to “sharp”. It also shows the option of highlighting styling changes and being tapped. Like a custom slider, this new option only works with the default lock screen watch, as it is the only “reaction” font using the font that allows dynamic adjustments.

It is unclear whether Google plans to offer these customized options for other lock screen watches. As soon as we have more details, we will update this post.
