It can be extremely disappointing to spend a lot of money on a very large set Noisy headphonesJust go with them on their first flight and know that you can’t hear fun in the flight. While some over -AirBT headphones can work wired, they do not do everything. Something Real wireless aerobids There are charging cases that you can plug through analog and then connect with wireless, but not everything. Fortunately, there is a solution: Air Fly Pro 2 to South South.
I reviewed the previous Air Fly Pro and found an easy way to add Bluetooth where no one else would be. Pro claims to be a bit easier to use with more physical buttons, and features Bluetooth 5.3. Like your predecessor, it’s not just for travel. You can use it to add Bluetooth to any device with a headphone output, or if it has auxiliary input (a lot of old cars), Pro 2, such as Pro, can also work as a Bluetooth recipient, so you can send audio to your phone or tablet.
Overall, Pro 2 works well. If you have this predecessor, you don’t have to be upgraded, but if you occasionally fly, it is definitely able to carry you.
Hardware
When the TX is in the form, the Air Fly Pro 2 can transfer audio from some means, such as flight entertainment in the aircraft like your headphones. It (in RX mode) can also receive Bluetooth audio from the phone, tablet, or computer, such as analog, such as older cars, older A/V recipients, and so on.
- Bluetooth version: 5.3
- Contacts: USB-C (to charge), 3.5 mm Analog
- Battery life (claimed): 25 hours
- Number of BT contacts simultaneously: 2
- Bluetooth mode: Transmit (TX), Receive (RX)
- Bluetooth Codes supported: APTX Income, Optics HD, APTX LOLTANCY and SBC (Transmitted mode); Optics, Optics HD, AAC and SBC (received mode).
Air Fly Pro 2 has a thumb -shaped dongle with a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) analog connection on one end and has a Bluetooth transmitter/recipient inside it. You can connect with anything with a headphone output to send audio to the headphone via Bluetooth, or you can connect it to any kind of analog “Ox” input and send audio from your phone or Media Player.
Although the original Air Fly has gone for simplicity, with two buttons and receipt/transmission mode switch, the Pro 2 adds a physical power switch and two dedicated pair buttons for each headphone connection while maintaining the original mode toggle. In the front section, the volume button changes the only purpose button of the Pro.
Twelve South claims that Pro 2 has a 25 -hour life of battery. From New York’s JF to Singapore you can take the longest flight right now, about 18 hours and 40 minutes, which is slightly taller than 15 hours Lax-to-Melborne The flight I took a few years ago. Since your headphones, regardless of what they are, this long -lasting tall tall tall tall tall tall tah lol tah lol tah lol tah lol lah lol tah lol lah lol tah l Remember, which takes about two hours when it is completely empty.
Regular Pro 2 brings a USB-AA-USB-C charging cable and a small cloth with a bag. Pro 2 Delux In addition, some aircraft include dual mono adapters as well as wagon leather pouches. Since it is difficult to know if your special aircraft has an old connection or not, I would like to recommend almost Del Delux. However, this is $ 10 in the upper part of the Pro 2 higher cost than Pro, and you can meet Two packs of these edits on Amazon at half the price of this price. I think in the grand scheme of things, these are just a few dollars, but with a ton of renaming adapter that offers similar features to the air fly, it’s already pushing it more than the average price.
Use
It is easy to connect with Air Fly Pro 2. Keep your headphones in pair mode, turn on Pro 2, and just. I tried various ages headphones and airbids, including Boars & Wilkins PX7 S3, Sony Wh-1000xm5 and my departing NC Airbus, Bosmfortal Ultra. All are connected to any problem. I recommend that you turn off your phone’s Bluetooth before starting so that the headphones do not get confused. If you want to connect the second pair to Pro 2, keep the pair 2 button with the other headphone in the pair mode. If you want to make a different set of headphones, hold one of the couple’s buttons. It will shine yellow some times, then alternate white and yellow exactly just as he did with the initial pair.
Although I understand the original pro design preference for simplicity, extra buttons make it easy to understand. This is especially important because most people will potentially use the air fly only a few times a year. You do not need to increase flight anger by trying to remember how to connect your own airbids to watch some Basi TV shows.

There is still some audio lettuce, which on the screen and when you hear it, you will be taken notice of as a slight delay. As such, people’s lips are not matching at all. It is less than 50 mm, claiming 34 mm in twelve souths, so it is possible that if you usually do not consider it or are not bothered by such things, it does not matter. Even if you have taken notice of it, watching that an aircraft cabin is not perfectly perfect audio and video, the possibility of this break is fine. It is worth noting that the original version had the same problems because of its Bluetooth connection.
Speaking of perfect audio, Pro 2 features Bluetooth 5.3 and it supports the APTXHD Codec. In theory, this can mean high quality audio than base SBC Codec for many Android phones (Apple devices only support AAC and SBC). However, two things about it. First, there is not a very hearing difference between SBC and APTX on most headphones. Second, any ideological improvement in loyalty to jet engines is about to end completely. So to me, it is more easy to use Air Fly Pro 2 better than any expectations of sound quality. The original pro seemed fine and did a great job. It does it too.
Bluetooth 2 go
As a noisy headphone and a fierce flight of airbids and a vocal supporter, I have ate an air fly on my journey for a while. Certainly, you can download shows and movies on your phone or tablet, but the plane flight is available for maximum selection of content available with entertainment. For long flights, this can be a big deal. After making a habit of your quiet environment, switching to a non -noise -cancel headphone or airbids is quite reduced to better NC. So, for this, Air Fly Pro 2 is a great option, despite its high cost for limited improvement in its visible features, But is still available for the momentPredecessor
If you don’t think you will need to connect two headphones at the same time and you don’t need it to receive Bluetooth, Air Fly C There is a cheap option that does the same thing basically.
Another aspect is worth considering, which is the overall trend of airlines that adds Bluetooth to the entertainment system in their flight. I recently flown a United flight that had this feature, and others have announced that they are increasing it. On the other hand, Alaska Airlines has finished work with Setback Entertainment in many flights, instead of contacting your device with the plane’s Wi -Fi to stream your shows and movies. I won’t be surprised if even more airlines go this way because it’s cheaper for them. For now, though, the majority of the aircraft have no powers. Also, there is no guarantee that even if one of them should have an option on your specific way, the plane you actually fly (the aircraft changes often). So the air fly must be lower than before, and even less, but for this time, it is still very easy.
