It is expected that the next flagship processor of the Ecinos 2500 Samsung is expected, but so far, all the information available has been obtained from rumors and leaks. Surprisingly, the next major Samsung chip is no longer confirmed by Samsung but by a company called Skylo.
If the name seems a bit familiar, the reason is that Skylo Pixel is a satellite connectivity provider for the 9 series and the Galaxy S25 series on Verizon.
Skylo noted in a press release, “Today, we are excited to announce a certificate of Acneos 2500 mobile processors, offering better energy efficiency and high performance.”
It is expected that the Ecinos will debut on 2500 Galaxy Z Philip 7. The rumor is that the chip set can have the power of new folds in all markets, even in the United States. This is also the first time that Samsung will introduce a flagship acne chip on foldable phones instead of its latest Galaxy S series flagship.
In the Skyo Press Release, it was noted, “Samsung’s contribution to Skylo is made on 3GPNTN standards to unlock contacts everywhere.” He added, “With our support to the Samsung Ecinos Modem 5400 and the Ecinos 2500 mobile processor, the mainstream devices around the world will now have basic technology to connect satellite where cellular networks are not available, which launch a new era of all kinds of contacts.”
In addition to its cooperation with Samsung, Skylo also announced a partnership with OPPOs and Techno to bring satellite contacts from the respective brands to future equipment according to NTN.
