    • The WhatsApp is testing ads in the latest tab status section.
    • New salaried subscriptions and promoted channels are also ending.
    • Private messages are encrypted from end and end.

Advertisements have entered every corner of the meta environmental system. Facebook, Instagram, and rails are full of them. For years, the WhatsApp was separated as the company’s only major platform without advertising. Now, it’s changing: advertisements are also coming on the WhatsApp.

Meta has revealed in a new announcement that the WhatsApp updates is examining ads in the status quo in the top of the tab. This is the first time we have seen an advertisement in the WhatsApp since Facebook received the famous messaging app in 2014. But don’t worry, Meta insists that your private messages are at the end of the end and are still beyond the extent of advertising. New advertising spaces are limited to the status quo, not your personal chats.

Meta confirmed three new features: advertising, channel subscriptions, and promoted channels. The WhatsApp is clearly following a familiar playbook, as it looks like we are already watching in Telegram and Instagram. Advertisements in status look like Instagram stories. These brands are completely visual, the option to message them directly. You will still be able to tap through the usual status posts, but before they try to sell you something.

Channels are being promoted in minatization. Creators can now offer subscriptions, so followers pay special content. There are still no details about the payment methods, but it will most likely use MetaPay. The newly promoted channels section will help creators discover by showing potential channel subscriptions.

Meta insists that your private messages are encrypted from the end to the end and are still far from the advertisement.

For now, the changes are limited to the update tab. But if you are accustomed to a completely advertising experience with the world’s most famous messaging app, it can start to feel a bit like the rest of the meta apps, and soon.
