- The Fit Bit app has introduced a new device settings page for smart watches and fitness trackers.
- The new layout is imitated in the Pixel Watch app.
- The Device Settings menu has also been updated
Google has quietly updated the Fit Bit app, introducing a re -designed device settings page for smart watches and fitness trackers. The new shape brings the Fit Bit app closer to the design of the Pixel Watch Companion app.
The update was highlighted 9TO5GOGLE At the end of the week, but it seems that it has recently ended, as consumers have seen this change on the reddate. Although some people (including us) welcome the modern setting of the Fit Bit app, others are not very happy with sudden shifts. A user who did not know about this change tried to re -install the app app to reset, disconnect, and get rid of changes.
So, what is new? Well, the re -designed device settings page begins with a large picture of your attached device and the face of its existing clock. Absolutely down, you will see important information like battery level, last sync time, and connection status. Easy access Top also has a sync button in the upper right corner.

Under the image of the connected smart watch or fitness tracker, you will find cards for the watch face, apps and tiles. This layout copies the one used in the Pixel Watch app, but still taping these cards still takes you to the administration options as previously.
The original settings menu have also been updated. For example, on Fit Bit senses 2, now includes settings:
- Notifications (calls, text, app alerts)
- Device’s preferences (by the wrist, screen lock)
- Google Services (such as purse and maps)
- Fit Bit reminders and warnings (reminders, heart rate warning)
- Indicators and assistance
- System (software update, disconnect)
- Smart Features (such as Alexa and On -wrist Calling)
This is not the first largest design update for Fit Bit. Over the past one year, Google has been permanently refreshing the app with a cleaner UI reminiscent of new settings and other Google apps. And there are more changes on the horizon. Google will recover the Fit Bit app with its new Material 3 Expressive design.
So when you open the Fit Bit app the next time you will be surprised, know that this is part of a big project to unite Google’s apps.
