The Lenovo Yoga series has long been standing as a premium ultra -portable laptop in the market. The company has been launching laptops permanently under its yoga branding, which is paying special attention to the concrete design and light weight construction. And the new Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura edition continues this tradition. Lenovo’s latest laptop is full of some interesting features, including the latest Intel -core ultra processors, a 2.8K IPS touch screen, a long battery life, and more. He said, is it enough to stand out of the crowd? I’ve been using a laptop for a while now, and here’s everything you need to know.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Design: Minimum and Premium

    • Dimensions – 13.9 x 343.8 x 235.4 mm
    • Weight – 1.46 kg
    • Color – Luna Gray

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition certainly reflects the brand design morals. The laptop comes with a round corner that gives a premium look and feeling. It is made using a mixture of raw and recycled aluminum, which certainly adds some hardness. Moreover, the company has also included a special coating that prevents smoke throughout the laptop, which is a good thing. I got the Luna gray option to review, and it certainly feels lightweight despite a 15.3 -inch screen offer. It is also a reasonably thinner with no noticeable flakes.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition comes with an aluminum chassis, which looks strong.

In my opinion, the occupation could have improved. O.L, you can’t open it with one hand (quick twist considering the price). Secondly, the occupation feels incredibly strict, which does not make fluid when you open it. And surprisingly, despite the feature of the touch screen, it is not 2-in-1. The occupation only rotates 180 degrees to lie down on the surface only. Also, I think the weight distribution could have been slightly better, which you put on your lap.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition contains a wide range of contact ports.

As far as the IO ports are concerned, this brand has done a great job in providing almost all essential ports. You get a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB type-C port, and a HDMI port on the left, while on the right includes a USB type-A port, a USB type-C port, power on/off button, and physical camera total switch. The ports are enough for thin and light laptops.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Display: Good, if not better then

    • Display – 15.3 -inch IPSL CD touch screen
    • Resolution – 2.8k (1800×2880 pixels)
    • Refresh Rate – 120 Heritz

Lenovo gives two display options for this laptop: a nun touch OLED screen and IPS touch screen. I found a touch screen model to review, which comes with a resolution of 1800 x 2880 pixels with a 15.3 -inch 2.8K display. This display also includes 100 % DCI-P3 color gaming, 500 nets of brightness, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 120H Herz screen refresh rate.

The laptop comes with a 15.3 -inch 2.8K touch screen display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

Starting with strong points, the display is sharp and offers crisp visuals. The colors are well balanced, and you will not see any excessive character in any place. Big screen size makes it an ideal choice for movies, TV shows, or even comfortable games.

The 120 -he feet refresh rate also smooth the entire animation butter. That is what IPS display can do. I like OLED and a touch screen collection. Finally, regardless of how good the IPS panel can be, it still falls shorter than the OLED display. The main reason for this is that you get better saturated, color, on the contrary, deep ink and more, which is not possible with the IPS display.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition keyboard, touchpad, speaker, and webcam

    • Keyboard – backlet keyboard
    • Web Cam – 1080p IR Camera
    • Speaker – Four Speakers with Dolby Atmos

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition comes with a back late keyboard. The laptop comes with soft keys that make it smooth experience when typing. The keys are well and offers 1.5 mm key trip, which is quite standard for this price. However, what I loved most was an oil -resistant coating, which prevents it from smoke and grease. Other brands note.

The backlet keyboard offers a soft touch keys, making it a delicious experience to type on this laptop.

That said, touchpad laptop is not the strongest point. First of all, it feels short and wide, which is a strange combination, to be honest. Because of this layout, I feel a bit limited using the touchpad.

In terms of security, you get an IR -based camera for Windows Hello support, which works well, even when the lights are dimmed. FHD+ Camera is passable, if not very good. I was not affected by the quality of the webcam to be honest. However, I like the fact that the company has given a physical shutter button to kill the camera feed.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition comes with four speakers, which offers some excellent performance.

Coming to the speakers, it certainly does good. The sound is loud and clean, with no significant distortion in the quantity. Speakers show a good command of the boss, while the mids and height also feel solid. It is rare to find a good speaker in such a compact form element in the laptop.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Software: Smart mode works well

    • Operating System – Windows 11 Pro Home
    • Other Features – Smart Moods, Lenovo Ventage

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition runs on Windows 11 operating system. Since this is a co -coin+ PC, you find all the common AI features that offer a common coat laptop. However, what makes it different is the company’s own set of AI features that it has advertised a lot.

There are numerous smart modes, which you can access by going to the Lenovo Ventage Application or just pressing the F9 key. These methods are designed to enhance your workflow into different scenarios. Therefore, a focus mode, power mode, welfare mode, shield mode, and collaboration mode. In the mood of attention, you can easily reduce disturbances by blocking social media applications for a fixed time.

Power mode allows you to improve the performance of the laptop, while the welfare mode helps you provide digital well -being and encourages you to take a break. Shield mode enables you to enhance privacy and data security, and when someone looks at your shoulders, it automatically blurred the screen.

Finally, we have a mutual cooperation mode, which mainly increases video conferencing. It is fun to play with all ways, though you have to choose them manually, as the purpose is defeated. It would be more interesting if it would have been automatically activated according to my work schedules in all ways, which would have been a completely different matter.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Performance: Trusted for Daily Use

    • Chip Set – Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor
    • RAM – 32 Gb LPD RR 5 X, 8533 MHz
    • Rom – 1tb m.2 pcie ssd

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition is loaded with the latest Intel Core Ultra 2 processor. The review unit comes with Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, which offers the clock speed up to 4.8GHz. It also comes with a new Intel Arc 140V IGPU, which easily handles most graphics -related tasks. This, combined with 32GBL PCDR 5 X RAM and 1TB PCIM 2 SSD storage, makes it a powerful, thin and light laptop in this price section. I have set the artificial benchmark scores below.

    Benchmark Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition HP Elite Book Ultra G1Q Asus Zenbook s 16 (2024) San Bench R 23 Single Core 1850 1096 1917 San Bench R 23 Multi -Core 10467 7457 15,776 Gack Bench 6 Single Corps 2690 2417 2,712 Gack Bench 6 Multi -Core 11119 142222732 PC 10 7253 NA 4453 NA 4451 3DMCint RAID 33861 8779 7,446 3DMark Steel Facebook Light 3227 2096 3,287 Crystal Disk Mark 6151.16 MB/S (Read) /4662.65 MB/S (Write) 6673.20 MB/S (Read)/4920.12 MB/S (Written) 5066.66.66.66.66.66.66.66.666666.66.666.666666666 MB/S (Write)

As the performance, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition easily glides through all the tasks you throw on it. I used this laptop for my daily work schedule and was affected by its performance. With heavy use of medium, which includes multiple chrome tabs and windows opening, writing articles, and playing music in the background, the laptop has performed stable performance throughout the review period.

The laptop offers good daily performance with no notice thermal problems.

In addition, you can also enjoy some comfortable gaming on this laptop, though it’s not for serious gaming. Thermal management was good for me, and I never announced to be too hot to handle the laptop. The pace of the fans was worth with a permanent burden. Interestingly, if you want to get the maximum output, then switching to the performance mode helps you get the full use of TDP for stable performance.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Battery: enough is good

    • Battery Capital – 70WH Lithium Polymer (Normal)
    • Fast Charging – 65W Adapter

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition is equipped with 70WH battery, and this brand has sent 65W USB-C charger with a laptop. Lenovo laptop battery performance is equal to the rest. The laptop effectively provides a 12 -hour battery life with a conservative usual use. With heavy use of ordinary, I comfortably got a 7 to 9 hours battery backup. In addition, it took about 2 hours to completely charge the laptop.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Decide

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7I Aura Edition certainly brings some interesting features to the table. The design does not stand, but it still looks premium and beautiful. The IPS touch screen display works well in most cases, but if you are someone who wants the deep calls of these contradictory colors and ink, then it would be more meaningful to go with the non -touch OLED version. The performance available in the market is equal to the remaining laptop of the Intel Lunar Lake.

The features of the AI look good but still need some polish. On the other hand, severe occupation can be a twist for some people. Moreover, the touchpad on this laptop was disappointing. That said, if you are looking for a reliable, thin and light machine that can handle most tasks and offer a soft key keyboard with great audio, you can definitely consider it.
