Maybe Lenovo Idea Tab Pro may not like you first of the budget Android Tablet, but it’s best to get you in 2025. Outstanding display and speaker setup, reliable performance and battery life, and a good out -off box software experience, is an excellent package for less than $ 400.
Shopping for cheap Android tablet in 2025… is less than ideal. We are at a point where Samsung and Amazon are widely keeping the budget tablet market faster, with the endless options of the name brands, none of which are worthy of your time or attention. It can make your choice be quite limited, but you have more to choose.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is one such choice. It was announced in the CES this January and the store shelf was targeted in April, all of which was done with very little Dhoom Dham. The price of 9 390 is at the highest end of the budget Android tablet space, but it is more attractive than the $ 500+ flagship. Hardware also looks good, but a calm, non -controversial launch feels that Lenovo lacks the pill.
Interesting to know myself, I spent the last few weeks in the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro testing, and this is not my expectation at all. Lenovo’s rapid launching strategy can make you believe that there is nothing special here, but after using the Idea Tab Pro and living life, I think it can buy you right now.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro I like everything about
Joe Mark / Android Authority
There is a lot that can go wrong with low -cost tablets. Whether it’s hardware, display, performance, battery life, charge speed, or software, one of them usually takes back to adjust the low price. But, surprisingly, Idea Tab is not a matter of pro.
The quality of construction is the one who killed me first. The whole body of the Idea Tab Pro is made out of aluminum, and it looks unusual and feels. This contact is cool, 6.9 mm profile means its grip is easy, and the frame has shown no signs of bending or cracking – something that is always given with such cheap tablets.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro (very good) fingerprint sensor.
I was really happy to have a fingerprint sensor made in the power button. This is a feature in which many budgets are often released (even $ 700 One Plus Pad 3), but Lenovo Idea managed to add one to the Tab Pro. And that’s great! It is fast, reliable, and makes the tablet opening or accessing the password manager/banking app so easy. It is not the end of the world to enter the pin for these things, but I have a fingerprint sensor for them, and I am glad to be one here.
There is more impressive screen than fingerprint sensors. Although I don’t like the 12.7 -inch size (after, more), everything else about the screen is excellent. The 2944 x 1840 resolution is sharp, the LCD panel produces pleasant color, and the 400 nuts of maximum brightness are enough for normal use.

You may not want to use the Idea Tab Pro in direct sunlight, but sitting in a bright light shop with the window as well as me. Off -axis -viewing angles are not excellent, but unless you are watching a movie on off -angle, they should not have a serious problem.
Idea tab pro screen is almost everything is excellent.
Also to understand that a good display is just as good as it, Lenovo has surprisingly good audio experience into the Idea Tab Pro. You get a quad speaker setup (two on the left frame, two to the right), and all of this is legally incredible for $ 400 tablet. The speakers get Really Loudly, so loud that if I have a bullet in only 50 % of the volume, I can easily listen to it at the opposite end of my 1,000 square feet of apartment. In the maximum volume, the Idea Tab Pro looks like a portable Bluetooth speaker – and surprisingly with a slight audio distortion. This is very surprisingly surprising.
I was not sure what to expect from the Medetic Dimension 8300 chip and 8GB of Ram, but the Idea Tab Pro was amazingly performance. The Legion Tab General 3 and the One Plus Padd 3, under his CPU Benchmark, should be expected to be more expensive. The Idea Tab Pro Wildlife also scores the lowest in the GPU stress test, but interestingly, it is also significantly cool.
They may know about a small number, but unless you are trying to extend the Idea Tab Pro, I don’t think you will have no serious performance complaints. Apps open and run without any hassle, multi -tasking is not a problem, and 2160p YouTube videos play without interruption. Even playing some round -of -duty round: In mobile very high graphics and high frame rate settings, the idea tab pro handles it as a winner.

What about the battery? The use of the pill can be different from one person to another. As someone who catches a handful of Idea Tab Pro every day to watch the video, scroll through the reddate, or plays a two rounds of the code: Mobile, I can usually spend five days before you need to charge.
The 2160p YouTube video takes only 10 % after an hour, while the Idea Tab Pro barely loses 1 % battery while sitting idle overnight. And when the top-up time has arrived, the 45W wired charging speed means that you return to a complete battery in about two hours with synchronized USB-C power delivery charger.
With a catch, an excellent experience of software
Joe Mark / Android Authority
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Format PC.
I have more mixed feelings about Lenovo Idea Tab Pro’s software, though most of it is a positive experience. Lenovo’s Zui’s skin has some visual adaptation than “stock” Android, but in most parts, it is a clean, familiar interface. Google’s entertainment space is on the left side of your central home screen, the splat screen and floating window is multi -tasking, and you can swipe to see your app’s dock at any time.
I am also surprised at the amount of extra (and useful) equipment on the upper part of the stock Android experience. My personal favorite is PC mode, which changes the usual Android UI into a desktop layout like Samsung Dax. It is well -kept, allowing more advanced multi -tasking, and if you intend to use the Idea Tab Pro with keyboard accessories, this is a great option.
Once Android 16 arrives, this is the last OS upgrade that the Tab Pro will never see.
The aforementioned “a catch” is Lenovo’s update policy. This Idea tab pro is out of the box with Android 14, can now be upgraded to Android 15, and will eventually be Be refreshed in Android 16. But once Android 16 arrives, this is the last OS upgrade that the Tab Pro will never see. You will find a maximum (four years) security patches, but this cannot be forgiven the limited number of Android OS.
At least, Idea Tab Pro should be supported by Android 17, and, if we are honest, even Android 18.
My biggest problem with Idea tab pro
Joe Mark / Android Authority
Although this update policy is the biggest goal with Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, I have another personal problem that I want to mention before I wrap up things. Lenovo Idea Tab Pro has a 12.7 -inch display and weighs 620 grams. If you ask me, this ideal tablet form element is so big and heavy.
Although Great is very good to watch big screen movies, it can make some on -screen game a bit weird, and make unstable Android apps even more clear and disturbing. And in the context of some weight, 620 grams body is significantly heavy compared to tablets like Galaxy Tab S 10 and Google Pixel Tablet (497 grams and 493 grams)-and you feel that the Idea Tab Pro is held after a long time.
I don’t think this is a Dell Breaker for the tablet, but it has to be kept in mind. The slightly small screen and lightweight blood Idea tab pro will go a long way to make a more comfortable and happy pill, and I hope it gives some Lenovo address if/when it releases the second generation model.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Review Decisions: Is it worth it?
Joe Mark / Android Authority
Even despite the lack of big design and update policy, I am still happy with the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. It is a well -manufactured android tablet that has a good experience of excellent display, residual speaker, solid performance, reliable battery life, fast charging, and software. Even it comes with a free, stress -sensitive styling that is connected to the back of the tablet.
If you buy directly from Lenovo, Idea Tab Pro will return you $ 390, but if you lift it to Amazon, it is available in 80 380 and it comes with a free folio case. Considering everything in the Idea Tab Pro, this is a very unusual price.
What are your alternatives? The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus (919.99 in Amazon) is quite cheap, but it also has low quality display, a weak chip set, low internal storage, and very slow charge. This price is a solid option, but you also get what you pay.
Joe Mark / Android Authority
Lenovo’s own Legion Tab General 3 (9 549.99 in Lenovo) is also considered. It is a primitive, but it also has a very small display, more manageable design, and significantly more horsepower. If you want a compact and powerful Android tablet, this is one of the best options there, but it is not even closely appropriate to watch TV/movies, and it is a weak overall value.
If you want a great display, loudspeaker, and a big Android tablet under $ 400 with good performance and battery life, I can’t think of any other tablet that is a better deal with Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. It may not be perfect, but at this price, it is very close.
