Google’s AI review does not save my time. For one, I work for a tech blog and are therefore professionally curious whether the answers to the answers are correct, so I made some ticks that have been detected. (Answer: Sometimes, but not always!)
Then matters come into being because I wonder how far the system of self-retaining myself can maintain itself-if AI gives answers from websites that live on readers’ visits, when no one visits these sites because AI has crushed the answer? If the websites die from traffic attack, will I still have to write for the websites? It has a lot to think about when I want TSA’s latest lithium -ion battery rules.
Interestingly, when you do “how to close the AI review in Chrome”, the first result does not answer this question when you Google. Google Support Records, discussing the shutdown of this feature when AI’s reviews were handled by experimental and Google Labs. Go a little more under this page and you will see:
Note: Off to the “AI review and more” in search labs will not disable all AI review. AI’s reviews are part of Google Search, such as other features, such as a knowledge panel, and cannot be off.
Thankfully, I work with intelligent people and one of them provided me with an easy way to ensure every search performed in the Chrome browser in which AI reviews are ignored and only uses results from the web tab. This is how you can avoid wasting time (and energy) so that you can find it like it is 2024.
How to close AI reviews in Chrome on desktop
Click three dots in the upper right corner of your Chrome browser
Barley Settings > Find the enginee> Manage search engines and search
Under it Site searchClick on Add Button
Insert Name: Google/Web
Insert Shortcut: https://www.google.com/
Insert URL: {Google: Basorel} Search? UDM = 14 & q = % s
Click Add
Google / Angate
Again, (hat tip to Tom’s hardware To assess this to help me) you just set the next three dots of the shortcut to set the search type to the default and click and click by clicking and clicking Make the default.
Now, Google go to the “Best Laptop Power Bank” and click on the enzyme entry (usually one to four results down) and spend a few moments before you move on, so I can still get a job in 2026.
Other ways to close AI review in Google Chrome
In the same Tom’s hardware article, Irm Plutch has contacted its extension, which is an easy way to hide AI’s review. It will still create a reaction, you will not see it. I prefer the aforementioned web method to avoid any unnecessary machine processing on my own, but the extension is easy and you put on the tabs of knowledge panels, video results and such familiar “all” search results.
To turn off the AI review for Chrome on my phone, I will instruct you to the right people in Tan Blanchex. Just open the link in the browser of your phone and follow Android or iOS measures.
