If you are watching For a premium 2025 TV, the latest period of excellent OLEDs has damaged you for choice. Using LG and Panasonic with LG’s new development Four Stack panel, and Samsung and Sony have yet shared the Samsung’s latest QDO Eld Panel, this year it has four tantalizing top -tear -hit -hitting stores, with a lot of potential to promote the Old Old TV.
What Sony has done with Samsung’s new display is beautiful, beautiful. The strange named Bravia 8 II, which replaces the beautiful A95L (9/10, wired recommendations) of 2023, is surprisingly balanced with nesting, expressions and natural colors, and Sony’s sweet image processing is so clear for this picture that some images are almost three -dimensional.
For all of its capabilities, Bravyia 8 II has some downsids than the extraordinary LG G5 (9/10, wired recommendations), it turned to my console, which includes the lower peak brightness and a background that has a deeper charcoal than the pitch black, which has a lower effect and understanding. For gaming, Sony continues to work on contact with only two HDMI 2.1 ports.
When these complaints sound, they are raised by prices: 65 -inch Bravia 8 II Model I reviewed the list of more than $ 700 compared to the G5 states at the time of launch (though the waiver already exists). Don’t make a mistake: This is still a great TV for the right buyer, which offers the place (and sounds) of the front row location on the amazing mantle of 2025’s premium screens. As always, if you want the best processing that can buy money, this Sony is a clear winner.

Unlike most TV in her class, Sony’s top OLED once again chooses legs on many sides of the panel instead of a pedestal stand. This sound bar space can be helpful where large pedestal causes anxiety, but unless your console is 60 inches wide, you will need to mount TV from the wall as I did. 8 II Mount Screws are lowered, that is, the TV is sitting higher than my wish, which is because if your mountain is already there, it is a matter of noting.
The TV is properly stylish, with familiar plastic checkers in the previous panel, and paper thin bells are out of the front. There is some recitation bias here, but I could not help see how much milk the panel looks against the LG G5’s black void, which I saw in my entire diagnosis. Bright (or instead of dark), TV reflection handling I have seen that I have seen that I have differently different everything except the full blurry of Samsung’s latest models, almost everything except everything.
The software setup is a relative catch with Google TV’s plug and go -out, which allows you to adjust most parameters with your phone and G Sweet credentials. I am a fan of Google TV’s overall ride, especially the ability to use Google Photos as a screen saver, just about the time I remind of past adventures. With each repetition, Sony’s implementation has improved, and in addition to ads of excessive enthusiasm for Google, I had no complaints in the weeks of smooth streaming and navigation.
This includes Zomi Channel Surfing through 50 OD channels through my HD antenna with a compact remote of Bravia 8 II. The remote is simple but intuitive, especially compared to the weird -based G5 remote, though it would be good if it was a backlet, considering that 8 II – all Olds – completes its best work in lowerlight.
