    • A Korean court has ruled that the Galaxy S22 phones were not responsible for damaging Samsung after rotating.
    • However, the court acknowledged that Samsung was “engaged in fraud labeling and advertising, which is likely to mislead consumers.”
    • Samsung threw S22 phones out of the box in 2022 and did not allow users to first disable this functionality.

Samsung made headlines in the early 2022 for all wrong reasons when it was discovered that the company was rotating its Galaxy S22 phones as part of its Game Optimizing Service (GOS) software. Now, a Korean court has ruled in favor of Samsung in a class action case.

A Seoul court found (Via Yun Hop News) That Samsung is “engaged in deception and advertising that consumers are likely to mislead” the galaxy S22 series phones reduce the gaming performances. However, the court also ruled that Samsung was not responsible for the losses as the plaintiffs presented “insufficient evidence” to prove the losses.

According to Zet Net KoreaThe court also said that there were no restrictions on the general performance of the S22 line, adding that Throtling only implemented some “high -spake” sports. Therefore, the court found it difficult to see this throuting as a factor that affects the purchase decisions of ordinary consumers.

The Class Action Case was filed by a group of more than 1,800 smartphone owners who claimed losses of 300,000 One (1 221) per person.

Samsung used his GOS software to reduce the heating system while playing the game to strangle the Galaxy S22 phones. This throttle also implemented the previous Galaxy phones, but Samsung made it compulsory on the Galaxy S22 devices and did not reveal this fact. What was particularly controversial was that it applied to throttleing sports, but it did not apply to benchmark apps. The company will later release a refreshment, which can allow consumers to reduce this throuting.
