Oppo is ready to launch its K13X smartphone in India and the company is making a big bet on stability. Last year’s K12X successor was put through a series of stability tests and we also have to learn about its strict internal structure.
Taking a dual approach with the Oppo K13x – the outer mid frame is made of plastic while the interior includes the AM04 aluminum alloy. This is the same grade material used in high -performance aircraft. The OPPO claims that the lonelle frame is more than 10 % more sustainable than the compounds used in the previous generation Oppo series phones.
The K13X passed both SGS and Mill-STD Stability Certification Tests and used the sponge biometric shock absorption system, which enforces the elastic material as a buffer between the main ingredients and the outer shell of the phone with high energy absorption.
The K13X also brought the Real World Drop Test from 1.1M to 1.3M heights, which did not show any structural damage or performance issues descending on granite levels with the phone. The OPPO also tested the screen down drop tests especially at 1.2M height and confirmed that the K13x continued to work without interruption. Here is a demo of the test:
K13x has also been classified against IP65 water and dust. It features the Oppo Crystal Shield Glass just like Oppo’s flagship phone. Oppo is also bringing its splash touch, which promises responsible touch control despite using the screen with wet hands.
For cold scenes, the K13X also comes with a touch of Oppo Gloves for accurate and responsible screen control, wearing gloves or placed inside a waterproof case. Although the phone itself can handle the drops, Oppo Extra Protection is also bundling its anti -drop shield case.
Oppo’s 13 x will be available in the Violet and Sunset peach at midnight
