Open this week announced a better version of its O3 Generative AI reasoning model, which states that it has done better on the benchmark and is designed to spend more time thinking about difficult issues. The new model, called O3-PRO, is now available for Pro and Team users in Chat GPT and API users, and will come to the enterprise and EDU users next week.
In his release notes, Open said that the model is similar to O1-PRO, which consumers have liked for its mathematics, science and coding skills. It includes improvement from the new O3 model, which can find the web and use more reasoning skills.
The company said, “Since O3-PRO has access to tools, it usually takes more time than O1-PRO to complete the reaction.” “We recommend using the Use of the challenging questions where reliability is more important than the pace of reliability, and waiting for a few minutes is worth trading.”
Openi Chief Product Officer Kevin Well posted on X that the company is also falling 80 % of the price of O3 in the API, and the rate limits for O3 will be doubled for plus consumers.

Open has continued to construct the latest round of updates for its big language models, which began in April. CEO Sam Ultman has touched the big release of the “Open Weets” model, which is a type of medium ground between open and closed source models that provides more insights about the model’s functioning. He doubled this week’s tampering, posting on X, posting that it would be approved at the end of the summer, but not in June.
He said, “(O) the UR research team did something unexpected and amazing and we think it will be able to wait, but it is a little longer.”
